Is this version smooth and fast ? Also when we're gonna see touch id on safari

But we need 2 FA to open safari. Touch id is one factor. Whats the second one? iCloud username password? /s

Literally my favourite iOS 10 feature, they need to bring it back!!!
Same. And they did that ass well to the taptic feedback when your password is wrong or your fingerprint doesn't match (at the lock screen). So sad.

I just can't get over how Apple refuses to keep this kind of features in iOS. If people have complained about it and that has been the reason for Apple to remove it, they should've have added a separate option (apart from turning on/off the lock sound) to change this behaviour yourself.

There's still a chance they will bring it back again, as they've done that with some other features as well. But then again it's strange they removed it. Really hope it comes back. It was subtle, but still nice.

Just noticed something cool in this beta, not sure if anyone else has commented it already but:
When swiping on accident on the lock screen to access the camera, when unlocking the phone and going into the app switcher, the camera app will be open in the background. Even actually opening the camera from the lock screen will have the same effect - stays open in app switcher when unlocked....

Well, I just looked before and neither of the above happen anymore.. not sure if a bug, I like it.

Seem like bad reception fixed with new modem firmware. Battery life benefit from it too as it seem to last longer.

Now that search is in Notification center I feel they should just remove Spotlight as is (swipe down). Or at least implement it better. I hate trying to bring my NC down and it thinks I'm doing spotlight search instead.
But I find the chance to activate spotlight while tending to activate NC is slim. I need to do so carefully to activate spotlight seraph but can easily call out NC.

Music now shows which tracks have featured artists (if written as Main Artist feat. Supporting Artists) instead of just track names in Album view.

Not true. This is happening because it is a compilation album of consisting of multiple song artists. If they are listed as features it still shows as such regardless. IMG_4682.PNG

It requires certain metadata to be filled right? I don't think iTunes can do so by default.

It's always shown like that if you keep the features in the track name but if you actually add them to the Artist field (via iTunes) it produces the new version (Beta 4 would list just the track names then when you actually played the song/looked at "now playing" it would show the features)

Basically. You just edit the Artist field in iTunes to show "Artist feat. Artist" and delete whatever isn't the track name in the title field.

It's just my slight OCD-ness of music library organization

But you don't feel it's redundant then? Why swipe down just for Spotlight search when it's included in Notification Center too? Same action required but even slim chance still seems unnecessary

Then iTunes intelligently recognise this song is "artist feature another artist" type and display it accordingly?

A change/redesign to the Lock Screen options, not a bug. The Camera app shouldn't show up in the App Switcher as a result as well unless launched. Agreed, a welcome change.

Has anyone noticed that 3D touching on the blue send button in a messages doesn't allow you to add effects to your messages anymore?

My iPhone SE has received its highest-ever benchmark score under AnTuTu on iOS 10 Developer Beta 5, beating out all the other beta versions as well as all iOS 9 versions I was able to test. I really hope this definite performance increase is a part of the final Golden Master.

My photos still won't scan for faces beyond 200 images.
It seems to want a certain amount of free space and will stop when that amount is reached. My 128G in previous betas would stop when there was less than 10G of free space left.

This beta seems to be processing them faster than the previous but still only about 1200 pictures an hour.

Ah that's interesting. I had to free up some space to install the latest beta. Now I have about 3.5 GB free. Oddly enough I had a lot more free space when I was on 9.3.3, but I'm guessing these betas take up more room since there's debugging stuff and whatever else.
