iOS 10 Beta 6 Bug Fixes and Changes

There's still a chance it could be a surprise feature as part of the keynote. Dark Mode + Space Black new iPhone would definitely get cheers from the crowd.
Speculation: I see it as an opt-in feature for devs since it's not in this late-stage beta. Apple apps would use it at launch and simple apps could take advantage of it in a little update within a month.

It's not a typo. Federighi mentioned it on an episode of the Talk Show. A huge oversight in my opinion.

Not sure it wouldn’t show up in the GM after the product event. There is the issue of the overly large NightShift button. I can definitely see Craig Federighi announcing the rumored Space Black and then following it up with a comment like “what goes better with all black, but dark mode” . It’s the kind of stuff Apple loves to put in to get a cheer from the audience.

But that still kind of proves my point. Might be wrong about 10.0, but it won't be in a late beta.

Is the fact that it says "Now Playing on Headphones" new?

3d touch menu is opening after 1-2 seconds. is it a bug? Also fleksy keyboard behaves strange in this beta (it loads most upper numbers row with some latency). overall it feels slower. i'll give it a couple of hours to see if it's optimizing/reindexing staff in background.
 
When "rest finger to open" is enabled, the writing "press home button" appears for a split of a second when unlocking, it'd be nice if Apple removes that.

Very smooth for me and hardly any delay.
 
They could make a dark mode by just simply removing the "invert colors" effect on the photos, icons, camera and maybe other small areas.
 
3D Touching the Music App still results in a little glitch with the album artwork displayed in the widget.

For a second it shows some older albums before quickly changing and showing the most recent albums/songs downloaded.

Can you check your 10.0.1 beta for dark mode?

This one has been in iOS 10 from the beginning. Did file a bug report about it last weekend, so I expect (read: hope) they fix it in the next beta or in the GM. Seems like a pretty big one, although it's not something every user will notice.

So, this issue can be seen when pressing (3D Touch) on an icon in Spotlight (notification center), when the iPhone is turned into landscape mode. Specific situation, but it's there. Strangely enough it doesn't occur with every app. Only when it's placed more to the left. Does seem to happen always when pressing on an icon with a widget, like the Photos app.

Again, very specific. But it would be good to see Apple fixing this. Every bug fixed is a bug less, right? Especially a UI bug, as it is a pain in the ass. :p

It's exactly the same. Beta 5 animation did look slower than in beta 4, but they just changed the way it animates. The duration is around the same as with beta 4. And beta 6 clearly hasn't changed that.

What on earth happened to shooting and editing RAW files on iOS 10 like was announced?! where the hell is it...

Animations are not slower, you're reading into it too much.
 
This beta feels smoother and faster than any of the others on my iPhone 6s.
 
Well, the animations on my iPhone 5S are a little glitch, especially on notification center, when you slide from right (notifications) to left (widgets). Scrolling the widgets on notification center is glitch as well.

Edit: my iPhone did respring two times already since I updated it. The clock app is unresponsive at times.

This is related to API support for 3rd party apps. It will come I can guarantee most likely in Photoshop and VSCO type apps.
