Not a beta 6 bug but older. When in an app, when I double press the home button, it goes out to the homescreen then in the multitasking area but it happens in rare occasions.

yes theres a new animation now when u shut the app and it looks like a glitch but its an animation its slower

They have changed, you're right, when closing the app, there's now a genie effect and the app shrinks into the icon but I can tell you, animations aren't slower.

Unsure if the genie effect is a bug but the speed isn't effected.

I think I know what you're talking about.

When you press an icon and then double press the home button to go to the app switcher before the animation is done, it indeed goes to the home screen first. Definitely a bug. Will file a bug report of that, as it has been there for a few betas now.

Here's a video I used in my bug report to Apple, so you can see it too:

when shutting an app or anything it has effect now going into the icon and if u shut quickly it looks laggy

Taptic / haptic feedback when manually locking the phone still has not returned. Bummer.

The lock sound is there but whether muted or un-muted, the haptic feedback is still missing from this beta.

Notification Center's background is no longer blurred, so you can see the wallpaper clearly. This is new, right?

Edit: Wait, not Notification Center, but the Spotlight search screen with the widgets. Don't know what's called cause Apple really likes to confuse us nowadays.

What app do you use for screen capture?

It's not slower, for the second time of saying. Open an app and immediately press the Home button, it closes instantly.

Oh and if you don't want animations, turn on Reduce Motion. Stop moaning, seriously, Apple can't, and won't please everyone.

I don't see any new genie effect on my 6S plus?

I am glad. I kept thinking I got a new notification RIGHT as I locked my phone. Since it was just present for 1 beta, it was most likely a bug.

It's blurred on mine. In which instance are you using Notification Center, in an app or on the Home screen?

You have to close an app when it's opening. If you do it when the app is open, it's the same as it has been for a while.

QuickTime! :)

It's built-in right into OS X / macOS. Works very great. Just connect your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch, open QuickTime, click Archive in the menu bar and choose New Movie or something like that (I'm Dutch, so not sure what the text exactly is in English).

It's simple, yet it works precisely like I want it to. :p

Open an app. Wait 5 seconds then hit home button. Definitely slower than last beta!

It is slower now when shutting app the icon does a genie effect and sometimes glitches and acts slower and reduce motion makes it a slow blu it doesnt kill the animation how hard is it to just have optition no animation???

Still having that horrible locking sound
Like seriously who came up this horrible sound effect for locking the device? I once locked it while connected to my Bluetooth speaker, and I was thinking "This sounds like a watered down (retarded) version of the trash can sound on macOS."

Anyone getting that annoying issue where Safari will stop loading a page and if you refresh it or try to go anywhere else, it acts like its loading then gives you a blank white screen. It started with beta 5 and is still doing it in beta 6. But I'm not seeing anyone else with that issue mentioned here so maybe it's just me.

Edit: it's happened 3x already. The entire webs page becomes unresponsive and the only way to "fix" it is to close the tab entirely. Pretty frustrating
