Had this issue in iOS 8 and 9 a lot but it didn't reappear in iOS 10 for me - iPhone 5s. I always noticed that this bug happens when I was outside in full sunlight, maybe an issue with the brightness sensor and/or a bug in the software itself?

Found the problem. It was related to Zoom being turned on in settings. Turned it off and it brightened up big time. Thing is, I've had zoom turned on since iOS 9. Strange that it suddenly dimmed the screen like this after a reboot of the phone.

Not a bug, but this is new to iOS 10. Tap and hold on the tab button in Safari.

You get the option to make a new tab or close all the open tabs at once.

Been around since developer beta 1. Also if you tap into the Tabs list and long Press the add a tab button (the + sign) you can recover recently deleted tabs.

Not sure anyone is obsessed but maybe because last few Fridays there was one? And the last was went backwards so a new one would certainly be nice.
Yeah. Apple breaks all "pattterns".
So they think "there must be one".
No matter what is the case, it is unlikely, to have one more beta close to event.

That was actually possible in iOS 9. Not sure exactly when it became available. Definitely nice to know and useful. I read it somewhere on the internet a few months back.

I pray the GM isn't the same build as this beta. I think it may be

It most certainly won't be. Didn't you already post this same exact thing in this thread already? The GM is NEVER the last beta of a X.0 version. Beta 8 was finished internally over a month ago, giving them weeks to perfect the GM, like every other year.

Has anyone noticed a delay when plugging in the phone to charge. It doesn't charge instantly. Takes it a second to register

No issues here with WiFi. Stating the obvious, but are you checking the same server for each test from each device?

Yes same network - runs perfectly on ALL other devices and hardware other than iOS 10 devices. Seems to relate to the channel the network is on which wasn't an issue before the latest beta release.

I can change the channel and it'll work fine, I can then change it back and it'll work fine - but a day or so later and its back to slow speed - run tests on other devices and once again only iOS 10 showing an issue.

is this new to this beta? when an app is using location in background constantly, it has the same blue bar as when using hotspot. i even turned off background refresh & set location to when using only, for pokealerts, it still shows that bar unless i force quit it..

Google maps has done this for a quite a while so its not new to ios 10, although they may have added some new parameters to expand the circumstances for when this blue bar is shown.

I am still having problems with the brightness and volume slider in CC. Every time I am trying to adjust the brightness I accidentally slide the cards in CC and it is driving me nuts o_O anyone else having this problem or is it just me? Can't even imagine walking and grabbing the slider because it is already hard while standing still :D submitted this issue in every beta

Yes, they definitely changed something IMO. I'd say about 8 out of 10 times when I am trying to adjust brightness, I too end up sliding the control panel. Super irritating. (And I've never had this problem before)

This is introduced in iOS 8 or 9 I think, nothing new.

How is the app switcher scrolling performance for everyone? Not seen anyone really complaining. But it's kinda bad on my devices (i6 and air 2). The frame rate is very low compared to 9.3.5.

I can confirm that app switcher is slower compared to 9.3.5. Kind of strange, considering that everything else is smoother.

Not sure if this is a particular issue from iOS 10 but I never noticed it before:
It is showing 50gb of used space but when I sum the space of each app it should be much lower...
Any clue?

Yes, for my iPad Air 2 and my IPhone SE is the same.
And here another one: if you take a screenshot you must be very fast or it not works.

They've been playing with the timing and sequencing of the power + home combination for screenshots and hard resets throughout this beta period and it's been a little frustrating at times. I'm not sure what was wrong with the old timings that caused them to fiddle with this - it seemed fine before?

Just a guess, but changes are probably due to the change in the Home Button of the iPhone 7 (seeing as it will not be a physical button anymore moving forward.)
