I've risked it. I've done it. Several times. It does not "screw up" the jailbreak because this jailbreak does not change anything in the initial boot sequence, so there wouldn't be anything TO mess up by doing an "erase all & restore". Not to say it isn't quirk free. Though I've never had any problems restoring on device on any iPhone, for some reason if you do it on an iPad Pro, the bug of not installing Cydia ever will return. So don't do this on an iPad Pro. So far no problem on an iPhone.

That is false.
It messes up this Semi untethred JB also. It screws up the app that you have to run in order to JB after each reboot. And causes many other issues with cydia and so on. Go on Reddit and read. So if you cant JB after you reboot then your JB is done.
But do whatever you want if you want to risk it.
Everyone else should avoid it or they will be in deep trouble.

Yes, but a run of Cydia Impactor fixes the program. I don't mean to be argumentative.... really...just stating that "erase and restore" does not cause a bootloop like it used to. And at least on iPhones you can reinstall the jailbreak again and it seems to work. My iPad wasn't so lucky however and there is other craziness... But its's still better then the total bootloop that used to happen

Consider yourself lucky.
The particular jb is very unstable.
Many others experiences are plagued with problems.

You also have to consider that people that encounter problems are more likely speak up than people who're having no problems at all

For every person that shares their bad experiences, there's probably a bunch more people out there that don't have a problem

For example, my jailbreak with 9.3.3 has been very great and stable so far. I haven't made any threads about how stable this jailbreak is, or posted in every thread mentioning how great it is

With this particular JB it doesn't cause a bootloop but messes up the jailbreak permanently.
How would you run Cydia impactor if you cannot put the phone in a jb state? Cydia will not load.
Whatever you say though. Yes keep doing erase all on jb devices. You'll get great results:D

Used to love this JB until about a couple of weeks when i installed that tweak that let you phone wake up when you pass you hand by the upper sensor, the phone starts to reboots, until yesterday, when it get stuck in the white apple logo ... the only solution was to restore... usually with the JB the battery takes about 8 hours to be depleted (i use a lot the phone) yesterday first day without JB i have 11 hours of battery (5%) though i rlly missed the JB now

not from the articles I'm reading. I check on it daily & not once was there any indication of it coming. Actually the latest says pangu is giving up.

Oh well if true. That is what iOS 9 is for.

I never knew that they(the teams that release a jailbreak) ever say they are going to release it. I thought they were just released.

For what it's worth, if they released a jailbreak now the owners of the 7+ including me(I have one on order) would be fairly pissed off that they released it before Apple releases the update for the camera on it.

There was at least one, by the Evad3rs. They promoted the release in advance, along with a release date that was not met. Everybody hated on them for that, and accused them of an intentional delay to increase ad revenue.

well it doesn't look like the jailbreak is coming out

That is the same thing that was said of a jailbreak for 9.2+, and 9.3, and 9.3.1, etc...But here we are on a semi-untethered jailbreak.

and that jailbreak is problematic & also annoying since it's semi

Lol "Research" doesn't make you an expert or even mean you're looking in the right place.

the same research that said 9 would never have a full jailbreak & yet................

Aaahhh the downside of JBing, a new phone comes out but one can't use it in the same capacity until the newer JB drops. So one has to do one of two things.. Hold a new phone until the updated JB comes out or operate w/o the JB for a while.

And this is one of the reasons I have not bought a 7. I am happily using my 6S, 6S+ and 6+ on 9.02 and 9.3.3. If and when a JB is out for the 7, I may buy another iPhone but not till the 7S+ and a JB for that.
