Mine is 9.3.3 jail broken just curious for whenever next jailbreak release comes if it's worth it or not.

Ran the betas over the summer and seemed fine to me

Don't update for 10.0.1 we have right now. Huge battery drain over daily use.

Battery is no better or worse than 9.3 for me on my SE. The betas seemed to have slightly higher or lower but honestly even that could easily be attributed to different locations/usage patterns. If you're not dead set on the JB then I think you're good to go. If you'd rather wait and see what (increasingly slim) JB opportunities there are then maybe wait for 10.1 or something - there'll be a bit more spit and polish there.

[doublepost=1474250508][/doublepost]Seems okay to me except for one funny quirk. Often, at the end of a phone call, instead of finding a red button to push the button is already green AND the phone call is still going. This became a problem today speaking to a customer service person at a third party location because their policy is not to hang up first and I couldn't hang up. I had to turn off the phone.

Was this using speakerphone or headphones? What about pressing the lock/sleep button?

My SE was the only device I had that was jailbroken on 9.3.3, gave it up so I could do additional testing of my applications. SE for me runs IOS 10 smoothly, no issues that really stand out.

Seems fine, the only thing ive noticed is when closing a safari webpage the slide off is a bit glitchy.

What's the consensus on this a few months later?

Tempted to upgrade, but I 'm getting a solid 8-9 hours on my SE using 9.3.5 and I'd hate to lose that.

I'm curious how 10.2 is. Particularly compared to 9.3.x as well (mine is 9.3.3 but probably not far off from .5 in that regard)

Runs good but ios10 straight murdered my battery life from 9 hours to less than 6.

Really?!

Double-edged sword with each new iOS release...it's unfortunate that you can't revert to a prior iOS if you don't like the new version.

If you ask me though...people are all too ready to upgrade and they don't consider all the factors sometimes.

Is there anything really compelling with the new iOS that makes it worthwhile for you?

I'm jail-broken so my reasons for not upgrading may be different than most, but ios10 offers me little. Certainly not with all the customizations I've added to the phone.

I still have iOS 10.0.1 installed on my SE since the battery is still great and haven't really seen a reason to upgrade yet to iOS 10.2.

I like being updated with the newest anything but if I knew it'd murdered my battery life I never would have. I JB myself but doesn't seem like it's happening much these days.

Hmmm... Got a few Apps that have gone iOS 10 only, so that would be a reason to update. Nothing I absolutely need though.

Annoying that I can't go back if it sucks...

I still get a good solid day of use with my iPhone 5 and iOS 10.2.

For example, yesterday the phone came off the charger at 7:30 am.

I used the phone all day. Approximately 4 hours of call time combined throughout the day. About 3 hours combined of internet browsing functions (web transactions, discussion forums, various business site logins to interact with colleagues, etc.). And of course opening and reading the dozens of emails that came in throughout the day. And of course answering all the text messages I received during the day.

At 11:30 pm, I plugged the phone back into its charger for the night with 40% still remaining on the battery.

Considering that in addition to my use, are various regular email checking (about every 3 minutes) throughout the day, and other system functions, I'd say I'm getting pretty decent battery life.

I did have my iPhone 5 battery replaced about a year ago. So it's not the original factory battery. But it was replaced by Apple. So it's an OEM battery.

The thing is that there are pretty much always some people that might have one issue or another, but often enough that isn't something that applies to most. So it's hard to really say what might or might not happen in anyone's case in particular, short of there being some known widespread issue essentially.

The iPhone SE will be able to handle iOS 10 very well. Don't forget it has the same internals as the iPhone 6S and the still very powerful A9. It's battery life is just as good, if not better, than iOS 9.
Don't forget Raise to wake !!!!
