Seriously... you're setting yourself up for disappointment when things don't go like you wish... do not expect a public beta for two to three weeks as noted above - and if it comes sooner than that, then get giddy about it.
If it doesn't come I'll be fine. But if it does come, which the indications on the PB website point to, I'll be excited.

OH MY GOSH IM SO EXCITED ITS LIKE CHRISTMAS MORNING !!!!!!
(I got a little carried away lol).
Seriously tho that is unexpected. Wow, now I can watch the keynote and hopefully get the software right after YAYYAYYAY!
I'm pretty sure the developer center and public beta website are linked. Typically everything goes offline before and during an event.

We'll see. Don't think it went down last year cause I probably would have heard about it.

macOS was very lite. Not much new besides Siri.
On iOS I like the redesigned lock screen, NC, and CC, as well as the "widgets" instead of spotlight search screen. But yeah not extremely exciting.

Android already has the widgets on lock screen.. Apple is trying to re-invent the wheel..

First WWDC that I've been bored watching. iOS is meh, macOS has some features I will use, but the most excitement I have is for watchOS.

Agreed. I got super excited with watch os improvemennts. Now the messages improvements look cool, but I'm not extremely excited.

Looks very gimmicky to me. Text voicemail on the other hand will be nice. Definitely not surprised with no dark mode news. I'm betting they are waiting for the OLED iPhone.

Oh boy, dark mode is 100% coming with the next iPhone. Dark elements that were black in iOS 9 are now white. Too bad it's only for new iPhones :(

A lot of the stuff for the lock screen was 3D Touch dependent. I wonder if it will even be available to use those features on older iPhones.....

I think this will be a good differentiator between newer and older devices.

Yeah. Completely agree. I'm hoping they are saving stuff for the September announcement.

I think it's exciting! We've wanted some fresh life breathed into iOS and this seems to be it. It will allow developers to do a lot of neat stuff and give us, the end users plenty of new options for customization.

I doubt I will even be installing PB on my devices. Messages is useless unless others are on iOS 10. Lock screen widgets won't be supported until developer update their apps this fall. Maps, photos and phone will work, but thats minimal.

Yes, there is more room for developers to do stuff, which in turn will be better for us. But overall for being the 10th version of iOS, I feel its lacking.

Not fot me. I'm excited about the new look of the LockScreen and notification. And who knows what else is there that was not shown on stage? I think there's more goodies to be discovered. Beta 1 can't come fast enough!
