Had the same problem with 11.1beta
Turned off each email account in settings until I found the offending one
It was one of two yahoo accounts, mail only no contact notes etc
I re-enabled the other accounts and made sure there were no more crashes
I deleted the offending account
Powered off the iPhone
After a minute rebooted WITHOut Starting The Mail app
Readded the offending account in settings
Waited about five minutes for mail sync and opened app with no further problems

I had to do the same. iCloud account was a-ok, my second IMAP account was somehow causing a crash every time without fail. I think it's a notification/preview/fetch issue causing corruption and a crash.

i have aquestion about iOS 11
when your device is fully charged to 100% will you get a notification or something?

Anyone else still not able to get 11.1 Beta 2 even though you have Beta 1 installed as well as the beta profile? Ta

Edit: ignore. Reinstalled the profile and it’s offered it me now

In my case it is the iCloud account which makes trouble. This one I can’t delete because the whole iPhone is tied to it.

Second...?

You just press hard at the edge of the screen and quickly swipe all the way across to move to the last app. It's so fast.
Weird. I tried this shortcut and it worked. Double tapped the home button to get back to Safari and the card was to the right instead of to the left where it’s supposed to be. Is this intended behavior?

Still not actually deleting Exchange emails when you tap on 'Trash' from the lock screen or drop down notifications. Still remains in Inbox. Anyone else?

Randomly, when connected to WiFi (have WiFi Assist OFF always), phone goes to LTE. Picked up phone this morning and was in LTE. As soon as I unlocked phone, connected to WiFi immediately. Small amount of data used overnight, 13.5 KB, in Cellular data log. Unsure if this is normal or not?

Anyone experiencing this?

Are you guys reporting issues to Apple via the feedback app?

Are you rereporting non fixed issues?

Have you tried a reset and restore when others reports they’re not seeing your issue?

Things to consider.

Switching between the two most recent apps is better with 3D Touch multitasking because it only requires a single gesture. However, I agree that it is easier to get to the multitasking pane with a double tap on the home button.

3D Touch app-switcher also allows you to peek at another app without switching (don't let go and when you're done peeking at the other app swipe back to the left edge to cancel the app switch). At least it did in iOS 10, hopefully this implementation retains that.

Still happening on Corp network but not home network.

Edit: noticed auto join is off for WiFi network...switched it on will see if it makes a difference.

I don't remember before, but 3D Touch app switcher now seems to work different: if you 3D touch the side, you get a preview of the last app, then you can swipe all the screen to load this app, swipe half to open app switcher but now, you can also press more firmly down to get app switcher. Very very nice and it works very good.
Also the animation is different, before the apps go behind the home screen, now are in front.

So you only need to hard-press on the edge to get the preview? If you let go without any swipe it cancels the switch? If so, that sounds like an improvement and will be useful for peeking at another app without switching to it (I do this fairly often).

IIRC in iOS 10 a hard press without any swipe would just give you a hint that you're going to engage the multitasker, but you just barely get a hint of the other app. Will try that out on my wife's 10.3.3 6S tonight to confirm if that's the case.

Check the auto join setting for that network and see if it is off. (Dont know if you knew auto join us now on a per network basis)
Auto-Join was on. Appreciate the tip my friend.

Does "Hey Siri" work again with a smart cover attached to iPad??

I know this was implemented purposely for iPhone so Siri doesnt go off in your pocket.....but an iPad is not a pocket device. I would like it to actually work if its sitting on the table covered.

Yes I submitted a bug report.
