Jumped straight from iOS 11.0.3 to 11.1 beta 3. iPhone 6s.

When dictating messages with Siri, she replies the confirm message rereading the message content twice. Even the Siri transcript voice above the message to be sent is shown twice.
I can replicate every time, at least in Italian, both in my car with “Hey Siri” and while the iPhone is in my hand keeping the home button pressed.

Is it a known issue?

Anyone having screen rotation bug on iPad? If an app is opened in landscape for example, push power button to lock screen and wake again, rotate iPad to portrait and the lock screen is rotated. But when clicking home button to unlock, the previously opened app is still in landscape.

Apologies if this has been asked already, but has there been any other mention of Airplay 2?
I thought that Apple TV connected speakers were going to be available as homekit speakers but I can't find any mention of a release data on Apple's website or anything about it being included in iOS 11.1.

I turned my phone off and on and now the home delay has been fixed its going a lot quicker

Does anyone noticed that , when switching to “save battery mode” iphone became very slow?
And it becaming slower even more when the battery is below 10% .

I am using iphone 6Splus

I am not sure if this existed before...

Complete Night Mode support in Apple Maps (and not only in Navigation mode).

Yes I’m seeing this as well on both beta 2 and 3.

iMessage icon in dock grayed out. Once you launch iMessage, icon brightens up again.

Ive reported this bug before in previous betas. Will do again.

Has anyone seen this in beta 3?

That’s possible. Can’t recall exactly. :(
No worries :) that’s typically how it occurs, and it does it for me fairly often. The OS will misinterpret the swipe up gesture as an attempted tap on the doc icon, and then will keep it greyed out. I’ve reported that myself a couple of times.

Smoother? So no stuttering for either of you when pulling down the notification panel when it reaches the bottom? No multitask stuttering when scrolling through your open app windows in the app switcher view? No frame drops or general slowness when swiping up from the dock and going into different apps from the app switcher view? No control centre stutter at all? Because that’s what I’m seeing on my iPad Pro 12.9 gen 2. It is god awful for me on here and hasn’t improved at all. Had none of this on 10.3.3. That felt like iOS 6 in comparison to all iOS 11 versions thus far.
yep smoother here too

How's music through CarPlay for everyone? This beta has completely killed it for me. I can still use all other apps as I did before (Siri still dictates driving directions and replies to "Hey Siri" for messaging) but I get no audio through Pandora or the Music app. The track information is displayed as it should be with Music but the Pandora app refuses to load anything up. As soon as I unplug and switch to Bluetooth audio everything's fine.

This is extremely irritating as I like to get a bit of a charge on my way home from work. Yes, it's been reported through Feedback.

Maybe its the design BUT in ios 10.3.3 the profomence were great , i mean that on daily usage i didnt niticed that i actualy working with liw battery mode. Now it make my iphone much slower than the normal beaivor .

Please advise
At this point, I would just wait for an update and hope it fixes the issue. If iOS 11 does manage low power mode differently than iOS 10, then there’s not going to be a workaround right now except for not activating low power mode. I still have faith that iOS 11 will be great. Just probably not until 11.3, just like iOS 10.3.

Music and AirPods have become unusable for me with constantly drops. When this occurs the music app still shows the song progressing, but no sound is heard in AirPods. The airpods are still connected and functional with the phone responding to double taps.

Tried forgetting and re-pairing the AirPods? I know some users have had success with that. I’ve had issues all throughout iOS 11 with regards to Bluetooth cutting out and skipping.

Yes, no improvement from “re-pairing”. If I move the Airpods to a device on iOS beta 2 or earlier they resume normal operation with music. While I can’t definitively say that iOS 11.1 beta 3 is the cause, it’s the leading culprit.

Bummer. And now we wait.
