Man, this update is taking longer than any I can remember, with wildly fluctuating time estimates. Must be something with the servers. Speaking of delays, MacRumors still hasn't updated the release article to reflect public-beta availability. Come on guys!

We get it you've said it 2 or 3 times now in all of 125 post total here and it's on the WIKI first post as well. Take your iOS11 sucks crusade to another thread.

It adds nothing to the conversation about beta 4.

What's a 100% delay?
For every post stating there is a home button delay, there are multiple posts refuting it or asking to stop cluttering the thread.

Can we all drop it for now?

I had the same issue with my AirPods, and installing beta 4 seems to have fixed it (been listening a while with no drops).
Although yeah, there's no reason to think it was a bug related to the w1 chip, could've been some other thing.

OMG that was bugging me so much. I would be at the gym and doing weights and the moment I sit down on the bench it cuts out. Have to take out my phone to switch audio to iPhone then back to AirPods to make it work.

Glad its fixed!

Laggy POS? Right. But yet somehow works very smooth on my weaker iPhone 7+ (when compared to a 10.5” iPad Pro WITH 120hz panel)

Why does it seem as though it’s always the same people who seem to have every “issue” and problem in the book? Seems to me the problem could be with that individuals setup on their device (poorly written apps installed, 32bit apps installed, so on and so forth)

That’s the point I’m trying to make. I’m on the latest and greatest iPad with a 120Hz display and yet I’m still seeing lags and stutters. If anything, ProMotion only further highlights how badly optimised iOS 11 is, at least on the new iPad Pros. Honestly, I wouldn’t complain about it if it was smooth but it just isn’t. It is the complete opposite of smooth, it is damn near like a slide show compared to 10.3.3.

And no, I don’t have any 32bit apps installed or anything of the like. This is a brand new iPad that I got just under a week ago. It ran smooth on iOS 10.3.3 which it shipped with, updated it to iOS 11 and immediately noticed the lags and performance drop. iOS 11.1 beta 1, 2, 3 + 4 haven’t improved things much either, hence my negative comments.

Possible the feedback app on the public beta is tied to the profile (like it used to be)

But the developer betas it’s tied to the actual beta build and not the profile.

Thanks! I just deleted the profile, it seems that this build is the GM so the public release should inminent. (next week?¿)
