New Features & Changes

  • When viewing contact info (in spotlight search or the contacts app) there is a new inline option below their name to send them money using Apple Pay Cash

New Issues

  • Some users are reporting a failure in updating to this beta over-the-air from Beta 4. (resolved- Apple server side issue)
  • Inline YouTube videos do not work outside of the YouTube site. They will only play full screen.
  • Mobile network connection is unstable. The issue is some sites are inaccessible (github.com). Restart does not fix the issue. Turning off and on airplane mode does not fix the issue.
  • Notification bubbles on lock screen sometimes fail to adjust in size for multiple lines of text causing notifications to 'spill out' onto the lock screen

I suspect not, as Apple has to enable Apple Pay to Apple Pay (mobile to mobile).

Unless Apple turns on a switch server side.

I would assume it's service side since Apple retail employees are testing it. I have't seen any reporting that they're using a different build than developers.
 
I can't believe that this update didn't fix the Exchange notification bug. Ugh.

EDIT: I don't know what changed. It looks to be very similar to Beta 4.
