Hi there, that’s my experience.
I can reach 10-11 hours of usage on my 8 Plus, but never more than this (i read of people reaching even 14 Hours of usage) and in some particularly intense days I go down to 9-10 hours.
I have enabled localization only for some apps and only if that application is in use.
I triggered push Notifications for email, twitter, facebook, Tapatalk and whatsapp.

Can I ask you folks what kind of tricks you use?
Thanks in advance

I have a bug with phone dialer, when touch 3d on recents call and touch home ,open dialer again and its blured.iphone 7 . Battery life its super now on 11.1

I’m frequently getting screwy looking notifications on the lock screen (iPhone 7) where the text for the notification continues outside of the notification box...

With my iphone 6s plus 64GB, I do about 4 hours of screen use

A little bit better than with 11.0.3 but far from iOS 10, about half far approximately ...

It's interesting how this can differ given that some others aren't having this type of an issue. Seeems like it's not quite all iOS 11.
That is the challenge. I am getting 6-8 hours per day on my 7+ 128 AT&T.
Far cry from what I was getting. Standby is good. Usage is not.
Using it the same. Running the same apps.
Will say my Apple Watch (Nike Gen 2) is doing awesome.

Current: 57%
Usage 3:40
Standby 12:32

Those are basically close to the numbers I get with my 7 on iOS 11 (or at least 11.1).

It's definitely kind of strange that some see considerably worse battery life, while some others see slightly worse, while others see no real changes essentially.

Has anyone experienced an issue with their notes app? I have multiple notes that I keep locked and when I unlock one note, it unlocks all my notes. Conversely, when I relock one note, it re-locks all the notes.
Mine does the same and from memory always has..

Hi there. I am activating Siri with microphone when listening podcasts or music , after Siri conversations, I am resuming music or podcasts with clicking again via microphone. Is it bug or new restrictions on iOS 11.1

In iOS 10.3.3 , it was continued with no any actions after Siri.

At the end of that day I had:
Current: 18%
Usage 5:57
Standby 18:33

Plugged it in at that point. :(

Updated from 11.01 to 11.1 this morning. Only slight improvement on battery and performance, since im on low power mode ALL THE TIME. But now I have a great overheating issue. How many days do it take an iphone to be stable after an ios update?

You should give it a few days and a few charging cycles for the battery to get a better idea of what things are like. That said, while there might be things going on after the update, your phone shouldn't really be overheating, at least not consistently/often.

Does 1 cycle is counted when its charged to a full 100%? Or from e.g 30% to 80% (50%) and then charge it again with another 30% to 80% (another 50%)?

Also I just turned off assistive touch and my device does cool off a little bit but still warm. It sucks as I always have assistive touch on on previous ios.

Try restarting your device. If it's still overheating for some reason, you might want to perhaps do something like reset all settings if not reinstall.

Alright so im not the only one then. I try opening youtube videos on safari and it doesnt overheat and drain my battery much. This sucks but i have no choice
You aren’t. Viewing YouTube through safari helps

I’ve had strange heating since iOS 11 though, which seems to generally be better in 11.1. Hopefully 11.2 squashes it

Or it is all iOS 11 and people have different settings turned on/off. I suspect (but am not willing to test myself and lose 10.3.3) is that siri running in background has a lot to do with it. And/or different apps running in background refresh/not optimized for ios 11.
