So is no one having really slow wi fi. Also the facebook app started to crash like crazy, never happened before. I m asking cause I don t want to waste time restoring back, maybe wait for 11.2.5? It s an ip8, ota updated from 11.2 beta to 11.2.1 to 11.2.2.

Your post made me wonder a bit. I haven't noticed any wifi slowdown but then again amidst other issues I may be overlooking it.

I am currently driving a Razer phone and decided to run it against my iPhone 7+ on 11.2.2
I am on Spectrum on the 300/30 (up to ;)) plan
Test was on the 5ghz band. All other current devices are on the 2.4 band.

Ran alternatively 5x each on the same wifi network side by side with no listed apps running in the background.

Not sure just what this means but it does show that the wifi appears much less consistent than on the Razer.
Without a unit on a previous version I cannot tell if there has been a slowdown.

Anybody else's WIFI dreadfully slow on 11.2.2 on the X? iPhone 7 on 11.2.2 works perfectly fine, testing up to 113 Mbps on my wifi, but my iPhone X doesn't go above 10Mbps.
Dude. Me too, I’ve tried everything and have no idea how to fix it. I’ve been messing around with the wireless routers setting and all. My fiancé’s WiFi on her iPhone is unchanged. When I upgraded to the X, super slow wifi.

Apple strongly cautions against installing any software that hacks iOS. It is also important to note that unauthorized modification of iOS is a violation of the iOS end-user software license agreement and because of this, Apple may deny service for an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that has installed any unauthorized software.

Jailbreaking doesn't void your warranty.

I would love to see you try to get service from Apple on a jail-broken phone. They would be laughing you out the door.
I’ve done it with no problems (battery and camera swaps). Management also didn’t care that I had a jailbroken when I worked at the apple store. Care to accompany me next time?

Those Apple Store employees (and the one from the Reddit post you cited) are not following Apple policy. That doesn’t change the fact that it’s Apple policy.
In that case, the numerous employees involved should be cracked down on. I think you can give Apple feedback at Apple.com/feedback
No thanks, you sound like too much fun.
Open offer :)

Apple can deal with their employees as they see fit. I’m not (quite) enough of a narc to do that. :p
People choosing to jailbreak is their own business, but they should know the numerous downsides and risks before trying.

Yeah let’s go after Apple employees for helping their customer , who also happens to buy hardware from Apple and is perhaps even drawn to Apple for their mostly great (barring this battery fiasco) support above competitors

That makes sense

I’m having this weird bug where the usage times on iPhone X is not updating in the battery consumption stats. It was ok for the first hour, when battery went down from 100 to 90%. Afterward i did about half an hour worth browsing and the phone says it dropped battery by 7% but usage times increased only by 5 min. Strange

Update- Once battery goes below 90%, the usage times do not seem to update w.r.t actual usage whatever it was used for, this is something new I am noticing on my iPhone X running 11.2.2. I did the update only this weekend and this is the second full run down.

My only iOS 11device is an iPad mini 3. It was crippled with a fresh install of iOS 11.2.2. My mini 4 and SE will happily remain on 10. And I’ll save money by avoiding new iOS devices.
