Maybe it is in Recovery mode and the black screen is a glitch. You could try restoring to see if that does anything but maybe it's not worth it.
believe me i try restoring it into 11.2.2 the other day from itunes and also the ipsw coming from the itunes still no recovery mode...

Yesterday I used my SE as a hotspot for my laptop (Windows 10). When I was done I closed the lid of the laptop and it went to sleep. I then opened the control center on the SE and tapped the hotspot icon to turn the hotspot off. However, the hotspot would not turn off! The icon would "blink" when I tapped it but it stayed green. On a hunch, I opened the laptop and let it reconnect to the hotspot. I then tapped the hotspot icon on the SE and it immediately turned off normally.

Has anyone else observed this behavior? I would report it in the feedback app but so far I have not been able to duplicate it. The best I can do is observe a second or two delay turning the hotspot off if the laptop is sleeping but it DOES turn off.

i notice that on ios 11.2.2 and the beta 5 the battery is dropping fast eventhough its not in use when it is in your pocket and outside cold...

Quite the opposite here on an SE running beta 4 and now beta 5. I average between 0.5%/hr and 0.6%/hr with light use. That translates to between 166 and 200 hours from full to empty and I find it to be quite satisfactory. In my pocket and not in use at all, it is more like 0.5%/hr, which is 200 hours or 8.3 days. That is with no background app refresh and nothing syncing in the background. WiFi on and connected, bluetooth on and not connected. Strong LTE cell signal.

When in my pocket, I carry it upside down which prevents the screen from turning on.

So is no one having really slow wi fi. Also the facebook app started to crash like crazy, never happened before. I m asking cause I don t want to waste time restoring back, maybe wait for 11.2.5? It s an ip8, ota updated from 11.2 beta to 11.2.1 to 11.2.2.
You should delete FB app and reinstall. That will dump all the unneeded cache it stores up and possibly resolve your issue.

Ok something has changed with charging recently and it also affects 11.2.5 Beta 5

I plugged my X into my 29w USB-C charger at 9% last night and after 45mins it had only increased 39%!

It’s supposed to do 50% in 30mins but seems it has been throttled back by Apple recently.

I downgraded to 11.2.2 yesterday to check this and last nights result was on 11.2.2.

I am going to get the charger replaced to rule that out. But I’m doubtful that is the issue as it worked fine until recently.

When looking on coconut it’s only charging with 5.65w. If I plug the phone into my MacBook USB 3 port it charges at circa 4.85w from the same amount of battery percentage.

So i recently talked to a senior adviser about major lag on my iPhone 6s Plus after updating to iOS 11.2.2 and after diagnostics she recommended to make a clean install of the iOS from iTunes!

I don't know if anyone of you are having major lag on older devices!

Same thing happened to me after I updated my iPX to iOS 11.2.2. Facebook is so laggy and crashes most of the time. My phone also freezes and battery drains so fast. Never had these problems with iOS 11.2.1. :(

Tried it already, but it didn’t work. Fb crashed 3 times today. I guess I’ll just have to wait for the new app update.
Ah shoot. I know this may not be an option for you, but many people (myself included if I still used Facebook) recommend not installing the Facebook app at all and rather use Facebook.com with Safari. The Facebook app is a known battery hog, can use your location unwittingly, and contributes to poor phone performance sometimes.

Anybody else's WIFI dreadfully slow on 11.2.2 on the X? iPhone 7 on 11.2.2 works perfectly fine, testing up to 113 Mbps on my wifi, but my iPhone X doesn't go above 10Mbps.

Got terrible battery life on my 7 on 11.2.

11.1.2 was outstanding.

Just have no faith in seeing it again after throttle-gate.

Mine is working as it should.

Had the cellular info and battery bar disappear randomly since launch day X. 11.2.2 still hasn’t fixed it.

New to 11.2.2 for me is the dock entirely disappearing, only a restart fixes it, happened 3 times now.

Here’s another bug that seems to occur after playing some videos in Safari and other apps:

In case it’s not self-evident, this is how it should look (after restarting Safari):

Edit: This bug has been present since at least as far back as iOS 10.
