Is there still the bug that searching in the „settings“, for example „Face id“, shows a double result? One with and one without icon...

Iam on 11.2.2. I have seen many iPhones with that bug. In an electric market every iPhone X had that bug....

Have you made any changes to your text settings?

I'm having no Safari issues on 8+ or iPP 9.7. Both are running 11.2.5 b6.

No changes that I know of but I’ll check it out. It doesn’t happen all the time, and seems to be particularly bad when the top result is a Siri Suggestion.

Each result for Face ID is different, as shown, one is for Accessibility where you can adjust miscellaneous Attention Awareness relating to Face ID and the other option to actual Face ID settings which requires authentication to access those settings like to reset Face ID etc. I think it is valid since there are two instance Face ID appeared in Settings.

Possible software bug but it’s not happening on mines. Did you OTA update? If you did, you may try using full IPSW iTunes update or possible a restart.

Yes all updates ota (11.2, 11.2.1, 11.2.2). Restarts and Hardresets i have allready tried. Maybe it is fixed in your beta (i am not on beta)? Maybe i try a full iTunes Update when the final 11.2.5 is released.

Oh, I see you're actually on the official public release build but you posted on the beta thread instead. It seems fixed for me in this build and release should be next week.

Hmm strange bug. I think apple should know that "issue". Its not a huge problem but a bug... and you are on the latest beta...

It goes from 93 to 76 wherever it wants!!!
So you’re approaching the 80% level of capacity that Apple considers “consumed” but there are two different modes of battery failure per Apple. You can have a failed battery or a consumed battery. Consumed just has shorter life, but all the cells are for the most part operational just with less capacity. Failed can mean that there are some cells that can’t take or hold a charge at all, which can lead to symptoms like you’re describing, where at a certain point the battery level jumps like that. And a battery can enter a failed state and still have above 80% capacity, seen it first hand. I haven’t seen any third party battery apps that’ll display that result, on the apple diagnostic they can run over the phone with you. I’d advise you give it a shot.

3rd party battery apps are not a good indicator of battery health. They haven‘t been since iOS10 afaik, when Apple severely limited the battery data apps can contain. You have to wait for Apple to push out 11.3 with the new battery health feature to reliably check your batteries health.
Or you can get the same result (my guess would be they’re building the same battery diagnostic they use at the Genius Bar into iOS) by calling apple, AppleCare can give you a link to enter into safari and run the diagnostic remotely. Pretty convenient.

When you move to different locations, will Apple Watch weather compilation automatically update location as soon as possible? Mine takes hours to reflect.

I have the weather on top right of the watch face and it takes about 2 seconds to update as soon as I unlock it, it is very much accurate when compared within the watch and on my X. Watch is always paired with X.

Hmm. Strange. Tried to reset the watch but no avail. Might need a bit longer time to try out. Oh wait a second, you have weather widgets on your widget page? Let me add it then. Maybe that will help.

Are you mostly on WiFi or cellular? Is weather allowed to use location and cellular data? If weather is displayed on the watch face, you'll need to allow location for Watch Faces. Then again some users reporting weather widget aren't updating properly on their device. Is your widget updating properly? It might extend to the Watch too.

The watch is tied to the iPhone almost all the time. Weather is allowed to use location and cellular data on my phone. Watch Face location service request is also allowed. I have yet to check if widget is updated properly.

6 betas for a point release with nothing really improved i cant take this anymore haha
I wonder if they will jump to a 11.2.FIVE for public release, leap frog jump from the current #

The only explanation I have for that long of beta testing for an iOS 11.x.x periode clearly indicates that Apple prepares some Apple Pay launches...
Dammmmm... well since its THAT clear we have nothing else to discuss in this thread
