Can anyone explain what this feature is? I know with my iPhoneX there is the option to unlock only when I look at it (attention aware) but how does that help with an incoming call?Attention Awareness is working for incoming calls now.

Weather widget?
If you're looking at the screen when an Alarm sounds or an incoming call is occurring the volume will be lowered as it doesn't need to be loud as you're already looking at your phone. Can anyone explain what this feature is? Cheers mate.
Great. It happened to me once, the alarm sound lowered but didn’t pay any attention that time. So with this beta attention awareness works for incoming calls now. Anything else which was broken before this beta?If you're looking at the screen when an Alarm sounds or an incoming call is occurring the volume will be lowered as it doesn't need to be loud as you're already looking at your phone.
The first time you use Safari after a reboot, when you hit the home button the animation doesn't play; it just jumps directly to the home screen. From then on, the animation plays completely.
[...] Other apps don't seem to be affected; just Safari.
I think they just wanted to spend some time crushing bugs. It was definitely needed.
I hope the weather widget problem is fixed!
I can attest than it's not fixed on my phone. Widget says 39F and it's 41F in reality.I’m also holding out for the weather widget bug fix.
Can anyone confirm after a few hours please?![]()
Too soon to tell. Until now it updated just fine three times but I must dislocate myself and wait until tomorrow. Let see and hope it’s finally fixed. I like pretty much the stock weather widget but I like it if it’s functioning like it was meant to be.Weather widget?

True. I’m with developer profile with beta 7 and feedback app is gone.Just so everyone is clear.
Developer beta profile= Feedback app is tied to build and will be gone after updating to beta 7.
Public beta profile= Feedback app is tied to the profile and will only go away once you remove the profile and restart.
Or 11.3 and see. They usually fix most bugs by the .3 iteration of the iOS.Thanks for the info.
Disappointed that it’s still not fixed. I can use a third party app but I like the integration with my AW.
I suppose we’ll have to wait until iOS 12.

Isn't that what that post says? Not true. I have developer profile with beta 7 and the feedback app is not present. It was with beta 6.
Sounds like you’re agreeing and disagreeing with the post you quoted simultaneously...True. I’m with developer profile with beta 7 and feedback app is gone.
Sorry, my mistake. I updated my previous post.Isn't that what that post says?
Haptic click is fixed in 11.2.5, not tested attention awareness with this build yet.
Mine is working so far but as others already said we need to wait at least 12 hours and change the location.I can attest than it's not fixed on my phone. Widget says 39F and it's 41F in reality.
Except for those that have lost activity achievements. It has now spread to 5 watches/activity apps in my household.Month 13 out of bounds bug is still present in case anyone was wondering. Doesn't seem to have any detrimental effect.
Assuming that's in some way behind it and it's not something else essentially.Except for those that have lost activity achievements. It has now spread to 5 watches/activity apps in my household.
