Attention Awareness is working for incoming calls now.
Can anyone explain what this feature is? I know with my iPhoneX there is the option to unlock only when I look at it (attention aware) but how does that help with an incoming call?

Getting that issue now where the green call indicator (at top of screen) appears for a second or two when pulling down the Notification Center AFTER the call is no longer active. It remains this way until a restart. I know others have had this issue in previous betas, and this is the first time it's happened on my iPhone 7.
Edit: The call was made with lightning EarPods, if that makes a difference.

Weather widget?

Yeah, it sometimes just randomly decides to stop updating. Which makes it fairly useless.

I've enabled it again; let's see if the problem is finally gone. I have my doubts.
[doublepost=1516391326][/doublepost]Huh. I just noticed a cosmetic bug on my iPhone 7 Plus. It was actually in the previous beta too but I confirmed it's also in this one.

The first time you use Safari after a reboot, when you hit the home button the animation doesn't play; it just jumps directly to the home screen. From then on, the animation plays completely.

I know, I know, it's a fairly minor bug. But has anyone else seen it? It's just jarring when it happens, like the phone locked up for a moment. Other apps don't seem to be affected; just Safari.

If you're looking at the screen when an Alarm sounds or an incoming call is occurring the volume will be lowered as it doesn't need to be loud as you're already looking at your phone.

Cheers mate.

Great. It happened to me once, the alarm sound lowered but didn’t pay any attention that time. So with this beta attention awareness works for incoming calls now. Anything else which was broken before this beta?

Now that you told me: The old animation of closing apps seems to be gone for me for all apps. They don't "zoom out" anymore but all fade away (not just Safari).
Anyone else can confirm this?

Weather widget?
Too soon to tell. Until now it updated just fine three times but I must dislocate myself and wait until tomorrow. Let see and hope it’s finally fixed. I like pretty much the stock weather widget but I like it if it’s functioning like it was meant to be.

I can attest than it's not fixed on my phone. Widget says 39F and it's 41F in reality.

Thanks for the info.
Disappointed that it’s still not fixed. I can use a third party app but I like the integration with my AW.

I suppose we’ll have to wait until iOS 12.

Just so everyone is clear.
Developer beta profile= Feedback app is tied to build and will be gone after updating to beta 7.
Public beta profile= Feedback app is tied to the profile and will only go away once you remove the profile and restart.
True. I’m with developer profile with beta 7 and feedback app is gone.

Sounds like you’re agreeing and disagreeing with the post you quoted simultaneously...

I really hope they continue to drag this out. Seven betas worth of bug squashing is nice and we could always use more. I’ve been reporting more fervently than I have with any previous beta cycle and I’m liking the results. iOS 11 was a true abortion at initial release but I believe Apple still has the potential to make it (near) perfect.

Mine is working so far but as others already said we need to wait at least 12 hours and change the location.
Did you restart your iPhone yet after 1st bootup?
I deleted the beta profile (public) and did a restart.
Will update this post in case it’s not working as supposed to.

Update 1:
- hourly temps still different to app temps
- GPS hourly temps different to manually added same location temps

Month 13 out of bounds bug is still present in case anyone was wondering. Doesn't seem to have any detrimental effect.
Except for those that have lost activity achievements. It has now spread to 5 watches/activity apps in my household.

Assuming that's in some way behind it and it's not something else essentially.

maybe its a bug with watchOS 4.2 and will be fixed in 4.2.2? guess we will find out next week what is in the change long for watchOS 4.2.2.

Its directly related to the activity app and not the watch. My watch is still giving me move streak achievements, but they are not awarded in activity because it think its 500 days later than what it is. There is no other logical reason as to why my activity app (and 4 others) thinks its 500 days in the future.

The last 3 betas have made my ipad pro 10.5 sometimes freeze for a second when sliding up to bring up multitasking. Not fixed in this version either. I have been using bluetooth more so maybe that could be part of the problem?
