Holy **** they finnaly fixed it, before, accidentally clicking the Home button would bring up Apple Pay, and clicking again to dismiss it would dismiss it, but it would then flash the white passcode screen, but it doesn’t anymore

Mine is flashing the screen while returning from home screen to safari. Act as if it is taking a screenshot when it is not.

Anyone experiencing a delay with turning the phone into sleep mode? I press the button but it takes a second to go to sleep.

Hard reset fixed my issue. Thanks for responding.
No problem, glad it fixed it

So far very happy on this beta. Even the battery life seems to be improved which I was already happy with!

Installed on my 7, all good. Surprise was when I updated my 5s and found the system slightly faster especially opening apps. Probably some overheads reduced, but still faster than previous GM releases. Very happy with it on both my phones.

Now waiting for seeing Messages in the Cloud on 11.3. Don’t know what performance improvements they could bring, though any are welcome. Nice new year 2018, to all. :)

The last 3 betas have made my ipad pro 10.5 sometimes freeze for a second when sliding up to bring up multitasking. Not fixed in this version either. I have been using bluetooth more so maybe that could be part of the problem?
Could be an app doing that. When Words With Friends is in the app switcher, I get a pause when swiping up.

Am I the only one who can't install beta 7 over beta 6 using iTunes? Tried on both iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro 10.5 and both halts when iTunes is "Preparing iPad for update". Nothing happens on the iPad and after 1-2 minutes iTunes times out, resulting in an error.

I am a registered developer. Haven't had this problem before. Using iTunes 12.6.2.30/12.6.3, as I won't let go of the app management, although it has been badly mangled recently.

UPDATE:
It seems to be a bug in beta 6. I updated my Pro 10.5 using the beta profile. Then I removed it and tried installing the ipsw using iTunes and this time the iPad was flashed. Hope this helps others facing this problem.

Now that you told me: The old animation of closing apps seems to be gone for me for all apps. They don't "zoom out" anymore but all fade away (not just Safari).
Anyone else can confirm this?

Sounds like you have reduce motion turned on in accessibility settings.

Still a stuttery piece of junk on iPad. Slightly better performance on iPhone although not by much like everyone’s claiming it to be. I don’t have much hope for 11.3 either. iOS 12 has to focus on performance and optimisation only and if it doesn’t live up to that then I give up on Apple.
