I gotta say. My iPhone X feels worse on this 11.2.5 GM than 11.2.2. Lots of little slowdowns and stutters that I didn’t have before. Ugh.

Did u upgrade yesterday or today? I had some of that yesterday but cleared up today.

Yesterday. As soon as it came out. Today it’s been just weird. And my reception seems worse. Like even with max reception the LTE is very slow and it’s always been fast. Disappointing.

That’s weird.. both my 8 Plus and 6s plus seem most stable and fast on this update.

Always weird how different the same model phones can respond to the same update

Anybody lost their status bar on this beta? At the home screen, iPhone X.

I know we said this was the GM but a respring is not good news stability wise. I will move back to 11.2.2 if this is final.

There are a couple of graphical glitches remaining. However, bugs are always going to be there. This is a very solid release candidate overall. This is so fluid it makes navigating around the interface a joy.

That’s exactly what I wanted to write. It’s realy very fluid. I am just swiping pages and going into settings for the sake of it to feel the fluidity. It’s realky smooth I feel.

I am using an iPhone 7.

iPhone 7 home button delay is still alive and kicking. After using the X it's atrocious how Apple turned the home button into a piece of trash.

My 6S runs flawless. So does my mom’s 8. And my sister’s 8. And my dad’s 7. And my other sister’s 6S. And my other sister’s SE.

Or, I just have a stress level a million times lower than you.

Either way, no complaints here.

iPhone 7 here as well. Sometimes I have indeed found myself going through settings or opening and closing apps just to enjoy the fluid OS.

So with second generation super fast Touch ID Apple also managed to turn the first generation Touch ID garbage. Right?

Done on purpose/working as intended. They have to show that iPhone X without home button is faster. No one believed and yet here we are!

hi all,

starting from beta 5 i am having once a day a 10 minutes of very laggy phone.
it responding very slow when trying to swipe between the screens , very slow settings loading.

i have noticed that when it happning the storage free space is changing , in idle status my free space is 30GB
when it occur the free space is dropping to 25GB.

after 10 minutes of this slowness the phone return to work as fast as it should and the free space return to 30GB.

iPhone 6S plus.

i am suspecting with icloud backup.
i am using the option of saving all full data of my photos in the icloud.

please advise.

Had it for a day or two now and it’s been like butter on my iPhone X. The lag I previously had on 11.2. Is completely gone. No other bugs or issues have come to light yet either, so let’s hope it stays that way.

You realize there’s a difference between throttling the CPU and intentionally breaking one feature right? If someone can prove they intentionally made the home button slower specifically, that’s a whole other problem. You don’t have any proof they have done anything to do this. A side effect of throttling could be a slower home button but the iPhone 7 isn’t that old. If you already have a bad battery for the throttling to take effect, I don’t know what you’ve done to your phone.

What proof do you have that Apple had intentionally, maliciously and artificially slowed down the home button on anything, apart from the CPU throttling issue relative to battery status? My 7Plus shows no signs of being a "piece of trash"... my wife's 6Plus is still good... and one daughter has a 6Plus that needs a battery replacement... her's shows some of the lag issues, but I firmly believe that once we get the battery replaced, her issues, likewise, will clear up.

“They” have to? Right....
Yes they do. Those $1000 phones arent going to sell themselves you know

Not saying its related to battery. They have maliciously slowed it down to upsell the X. Even the iPhone 8 has home button delay.
