I just replied to a sms, via quick answer. Pushed Send and I got a black screen with the turning circel for ca. 2 seconds and then their was my lockscreen again (iPhone X).

That’s called a respring FYI. Been a lot of those on iOS 11.

I had my iPhone 8 Plus for about 2 weeks before getting 11.2.5

It was fine until I updated, now I am noticing a bunch of small problems, freezes, crashes, graphical issues.

Ok, seeing these respirings means I am not alone. I experienced resprings the day after the release.

Contacted apple support, they ran diganostics everything came back working as it should. YET they still insisted it’s a hardware issue? Every release up until this one I never had any resprings or kernel panics.

It’s like the geniuses couldn’t dare question apples software triggering problems, it’s like a no go zone and not possible.

11.2.5 ip7 text sound is only “ding” now when any iTunes tone is selected. I have “download all purchased tones” and nothing changes.

On iPhone X, anyone else see that the display fade off animation stutters/lags sometimes...other times it's smooth.

Be careful that you don’t inadvertently cover the iPhone X sensor in the upper right corner of the screen. Given the larger size of the phone my finger sometimes strays up there causing the screen to momentarily dim and go out of focus. 100% reproducible.

No, I’m talking about when I’m actually wanting to lock the phone. I lock it and then as the screen fades off, it stutters a bit rather than being a smooth fade.

Yep same. I updated to 11.2.5 thinking everything was going to be fine since the last update was good for me. Going from 10 to 11 was hell for the first month but now it’s back to being crap. IOS 12 can’t come soon enough.
