Thanks for checking. Just to clarify the gyroscope (or accelerometer?) issue in 11.1 doesn't really affect the compass itself, only the spirit level on second page of compass, you need to tilt at 5-10 degrees to get a 0 reading.
I can confirm this but not to the degree yours is off. I have to tilt my phone about 2-3 degrees to get it actually level.

Thanks. Obviously I'm not certain to what exact degree it is off, but it is not working correctly whatever it is. It is more noticeable on these gyroscope/accelerometer steering games i.e. Real Racing 3, Asphalt 8, Asphalt Xtreme.

Perhaps in iTunes on the Mac but I don’t think multi-room audio was system-wide.

It didn't offer any kind of audio sync either, so when I used it multiple rooms the audio wasn't in sync...
[doublepost=1509714334][/doublepost]How do one get their new iPhone X on iOS 11.2 BETA1? Do I have to configure it and grab the profile as there is no ISPW available so I could just restore it beforehand?

Don’t think they’ve released a build for 11.2 Beta 1 on the X. My guess is they will for beta 2.

That really sucks. I picked up my X this morning. My only backup was from 11.2. You can't install an 11.2 backup on the X out of the box. Ok - no problem. Setup as new, installed Beta profile, searched for 11.2 - NOTHING!!!

Now I can't apply my 11.2 backup until Apple gets their ish together and gets 11.2 beta out.

Hello guys . I think I noticed a slight misbehaviour in the Alarm-app/Clock-app.

If I want to turn off the alarms in the morning, the toggle flicks right back on if I want to disable it. After a repeated press, it disables the alarm: https://www.dropbox.com/s/l6hzzdt5mnrplx4/ScreenRecording_11-03-2017 07-59-16.MP4?dl=0

I think this may be intentional. When my alarm goes off in the morning I sometimes hit the snooze button still half asleep then realize I'm all the way awake before it goes off again. In order to keep my alarm from going off again I go in and turn it off. This could be a way to prevent people from shutting it off and forgetting to turn it back on. Just a thought.

Adding to that response, I have to report my first major hiccup with iOS 11. I went to listen to one of my albums that I had synced over from iTunes yesterday and it wasn't there. There were maybe five albums of the ~4500 tracks I own. I got home and plugged in to sync everything over and iTunes refused to do it. Restarted the phone and updated iTunes and finally was able to get the sync started (actually showed "Syncing 1 of xxxx").

I got up and walked away to find something better to do than watch it sync and came back shortly after well before it should have been done and it just showed the Apple logo and used storage as 27GB (Other, not music). Started the sync again and the next time I came back it was showing my music in the storage indicator within iTunes. It was late at this point so I grabbed it and put it on the charger for the night.

Woke up this morning and intended on listening to something on the way to work and my Music app now refuses to open. Have tried killing the app and restarting. Good thing I have Pandora to keep my ears company.

I would advise to always make an archived backup before you jump on a beta, for this exact reason. Don’t worry though, you can apply that backup when Apple releases a beta build for the X, hopefully next week.

My “smooth” performance seems have gotten worse over the past 24 hours, along with some nasty instability bugs. Oh well, on to Beta 2!!
What kind of instability bugs are you seeing and which device do you have? I’ve heard quite a bit throughout iOS 11 betas that people see a decrease in performance after a few days. Wonder if it’s some sort of caching issue or poor memory management causing corruption. I noticed that last year, a lot of 10.3.x changes were to fix memory corruption and perhaps that’s one reason it’s so stable.

Is there a public beta 11.2 for iPhone X?

I have PB 11.2 on my 8 Plus with an encrypted backup. I installed the public beta profile on the X and it only downloaded 11.1. I can't restore the backup because it's higher. Anyway to get the PB 11.2 for the X?

So...because you didn't follow Apple's instructions and make a backup before installing a beta, Apple has to get their "ish" together and get you a new beta out. Alrighty then....

In 11.2 level is 0 for sure. Confirmed with a physical bubble level. Even -1 is slightly off center on the physical level. On my 6 Plus and on 11.2 beta 1 the level is spot on perfect. Different chip in your device? Is yours calibrated recently? I had just calibrated mine as I hadn’t used it in ages.

You can’t get what Apple has not yet released. That’s the biggest issue with running early beta software in the same time frame as Apple is releasing new hardware. You probably should have seen this situation coming.

Well, ya know, bad assumptions on my part which was PB 11.2 was for all devices. Live and learn. But I did speak with Beta Support and she gave me some help. I just need to wait for this to finish updating.

I'm always helpful to others. And, btw, she did say iPhone X is part of PB 11.2. See, I'm nice and help.

How does that help? That restores a backup from before a current beta. You lose stuff. But, oh yes, I know, it's a beta.

You make the backup before you enter the beta channel (or, in the rare case like this one, when there were 2 betas running in parallel, on the older beta). Then you always have something to fall back to. I know most people probably don't do this (myself included), but if you don't, you need to be prepared to deal with the consequences and not blame Apple for not releasing a new beta fast enough. The person who posted about no beta 11.2 for iPhoneX would have had no issue if he/she had made a backup on 11.1, beta or release.

God! the constant nag to do a software update every 10 seconds is driving me crazy.
Still need to wait 3 more days for next beta and tolerate this popup.

I even reset and set up my phone as new but the nag came back in a day. LMAO.

I don’t know if this has been reported, but when playing music using Bluetooth headphones you can see an “OK” button behind the AirPlay(?) icon in the lock screen

Remove the beta profile. You can always install the beta profile later for updates.

If anyone with 11.2 Beta 1 has any game that uses the gyroscope to steer, please test the steering as 11.1 broke steering for many racing games such as the Asphalt series and Real Racing 3

EDIT: Also breaks spirit level on compass app, assume same issue

Although I don't currently have Asphalt 8 on my Iphone 6, I have it on my Android 6.0.1, tablet.

The spirit level works just fine on my Iphone 6 with IOS 11.2, beta 1. I never tested it on IOS 11.1, though.

I tried that, and also changing from dev to public beta.

Did you reboot after uninstalling the profile, before you reinstalled it? You have to do that each time.

I only have to tilt 1 degree for mine to change from 0, on my Iphone 6 with IOS 11.2 Beta 1.

Works for me.
