Would you agree or disagree with this statement - iPhones have become so advanced that per their Geekbench scores, they are now rivaling baseline Macs?

Do consumers buy a new Mac every year for the new model? Most don’t, as they tend to last awhile.

But here’s the 1,000 dollar question (see what I did there?) why would Apple purposely slow iPhone’s down after 2 years but not Macs? The answer is...look at their quarter earnings reports and see where they get the majority of their profits from - iPhones.

They can’t have people keeping their iPhones for too many years. I don’t understand people on this forum...Apple doesn’t have to maliciously write in their code to slow down iPhones all they have to do is purposefully not optimized the code, you’ll get the same outcome.

Sure, in a hyper-competitive industry Apple would intentionally piss off customers in an effort to capture what would be a very tiny sliver of additional sales. Not likely.

Is no one seeing that small stutter at the end of the animation when opening apps? I am iphone 8

Is anyone having an issue where iMessage notifications show up 3 times? once when they come in and once 2 min afterwards, and then a third time after a random amount of time.

People keeping their iPhones like they do their Macs 3-4 years (avg) wouldn’t hurt Apple’s sales? Are you crazy???

As opposed to them making people's devices work worse on purpose expecting that those people would somehow turn around and give more money to a company that they are blaming for messing up their devices? What sense does that make?

Please, can we keep this thread on topic and not start down this road every single time a new beta is released?
