Will do. I will post results in 24 hours.

Gaming in any form reduces your use time drastically. So does using Infuse to play MKV which I do, and hence struggling to give a photo for my 7. I'm generally at between 45 and 50 percent with 3-3.5 hours use and between 13-15 hours standby when I start watching movies and kill the battery faster than normally, so I refrain from uploading a shot then.

I would like to confirm that I also see this annoying message about Bluetooth activation whenever I open the App Store (when I have disabled Bluetooth).

I assume you are talking about inability to know if Power Save mode was enabled during the screenshot of battery life? Well, people can cheat, they can keep it enabled, then switch it off and take screenshots, but that is not what anyone is doing here, I am sure.

On another note, if Power Save was enabled when the screen shot was taken, you'd see a nice mustard yellow battery telling you that Power Save is enabled. :)

Yup, I know, that's why it was just a question, justo to know, because I can't get that on mine, not even close. Others batteries life screen shot are more in what im getting. Not saying anyone its cheating ;).
[doublepost=1510534372][/doublepost]Anyone have experience that when you receive a call in a call, and put the "Hold and accept", then finished that call and the you cannot get the other call (first one) to stop being on hold , I have clicked the button on screen to quit the hold on call and it only act like im clicking but I cannot make that the other person hears me, so I have to end the call and call again. (Sorry for the big amount of "Call" in this post).

Can anyone replicate this bug?

Start recording a voice memo, and while recording go to home screen and use 3DT. There is no haptic feedback.

It might not be a bug but a subtle and beautiful feature, because the buzz from the haptic feedback will be picked up by microphone. I'm so glad this is there.

Please take off your bug-finding lenses and start thinking from the point of a developer generally known to take great care in design.

Ah so that’s why it’s there.

But the third party apps in the store don’t do this.

Yes. Sometimes Siri cuts me off before i've finished my sentence also. Currently awaiting a call back from a senior support technician. They escalated my case to engineering. Apparently this issue has been reported by quite a few people.

iPhone 6 plus here. Siri takes 10 seconds or more just to animate the blob on the bottom of the screen. Some 5+ more seconds to listen to voice input. That part is random. Speak too early and it'll miss what you said entirely, wait a few seconds too long, and it pops up the help screen. The "Hey Siri" has exactly the same issue - it responds to the "Hey Siri" immediately, but that takes 15+ seconds to start up and ding.

This is on the beta and public releases all the way back to 11.0. Even happens on a freshly restored phone too. I'm also having issues with all launch times - 5 or more seconds to open Chat, Mail or Safari.

If the apps are still resident in memory, the switching performance is noticeably slow but acceptable - mostly delays for text entry fields to become active. While the apps are actively running, performance is fine too.

Third party apps cannot possibly disable system functions; one of the beauties of the iOS "jail" that just so happens to keep its inmates protected. ;)

ALARM clock issue?
This morning my alarm clock went off, like it always does, but there was no music, just the vibration. I have my do not disturb set for this time of morning, but the alarm always plays through anyway. I tried an alarm with DND disabled, but it still doesn’t play music. Only way I could get it to play music for the alarm was to I mute the sound with the switch over the volume buttons which is ALWAYS on for me. I hate sounds from phone but neednit to wake me up. Not sure if this is a bug or what.i have the 11.2 public beta.

Also experiencing that alarm clock bug... whenever mine goes off the sound is really faint. Restarting the phone fixes it

I would like to confirm that I also see this annoying message about Bluetooth activation whenever I open the App Store (when I have disabled Bluetooth).

I’m getting that message too. Luckily it is a pretty harmless glitch. I click “OK” and it allows me to keep using the App store without any problems.

Having said that, I did send a screenshot and report to the Apple folks. So hopefully they do get it cleaned up if enough people are reporting it.

Is a new “feature” that when the battery is almost empty then instead of acting normally and then automatically shutting down the phone it starts to lag a lot, stall, freeze and be basically unusable until the battery completely dies.
I noticed this also but mine doesn’t freeze it just gets noticeably slower.

Has anybody had the bug on this beta where you call someone and the in ear ringer keeps going for a few seconds after they answer? I know this was an issue early on, but just had it happen on this beta.

Is there any chance the battery life will be fixed on 7 Plus? Apple has ruined it completely. 7 hours of use is max I get.

How about posting some actual supporting data with your claims? A screenshot of the battery usage screen maybe? That might let folks take your post serious... (Maybe a switch to Android would suit you better)

Uh, you mean like this?
I was easily getting 10 hours or more on iOS 10.3.3. Ever since iOS 11 dropped its been limited to 7 hours no matter what I do and this is with moderate use. I have even tried low power mode.

This is my battery level after just around 3 hours.

He did provide screenshot of his usage stats.

I sure hope the absence of auto-stop after turning of bluetooth headphones is a bug because its really get in my nerves.. iOS has always automatically stopped playback when your current active playback device gets disconnected so I have always just turned my bluetooth headphones off when I'm getting home. Why would I click stop, then turn them off?

So whats happened to me three times this week is that all my podcasts have gotten played by mistake because the phone keeps playing them after I have turned off my Beats Studio3 headphones.. As my phone is on silent all the time the phone has just kept playing my podcasts without any audio after I have turned of my headphones. Its so darn annoying.

Anybody having issues with Keychain passwords not updating between devices? Not working here.

I keep hearing about people doing hard restarts. However, I have read that hard restarts of IOS are not a good idea and can potentially corrupt data. Just because one has never had any issues doing so, doesn't mean it is a good Idea. The same is true with Mac OS, Windows, etc.

Anybody care to weigh in on this. I would love to get some feedback concerning this practice.

Here is a recent article about it, by a former, Apple employee:

https://www.payetteforward.com/how-to-hard-reset-iphone-why-its-bad/

I don't have time to re-read it now,but I hope it is useful. I'm sure it shows some use cases for hard resets.
Thanks
Yes I have said this for years. If the device is not hard locked it’s best to just reset using the restart option. Hard restart is really for when the device is locked up totally and nothing responding. Just equate that to pulling the plug out of the wall on a computer when you just want to restart it. Not a good idea at all as it’s best to let it shutdown gracefully.

Absence of auto stop is also occurring with lightning jack headphones. With your feedback, it seems it could be either/ or, I do hope it is a bug that will be fixed and not a new 'feature' thrust upon us.
