iOS 11.2 Beta 3 Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

This is just bad design, to be honest. It just flat out looks bad.



I'll give you an example.

I traverse three distinct areas in my daily travels. My widget will still say that my location is still in area A, despite me being in area C. Sometimes it's even worse where it will be displaying last night's weather for whichever common locale that I'm not currently in.

The funny thing is, he even said he solved the issue for himself. He bought an iPhone 10 and is also keeping his iPad Pro on iOS 10.

Yet he still complains. Even though he said he wouldn’t.

It looks a lot worse on the blown up screenshot than it does on the actual phone. It also doesn't appear that you can disable it.

But it should be there.

I've never had problem with the weather widget before.

Have you tried setting Date & Time to automatically? Under location services, make sure it is On and set Weather app to "While Using the App" or "Always". Under System Services, make sure Setting Time Zone is On.

I never thought to check there. I have automatic timezone set already. I did however uncheck and recheck all applicable options though.

My watch and phone now read the same temperature, however the watch says I'm in one place and the phone another (even if they're technically the same place).

Yep, just did in the last 5 minutes actually. The kicker is that as far as I'm able to tell, it doesn't even have any consistency to it "sticking." Sometimes my location and the time/weather combo will be accurate, other times it'll think it was the night before with the location of my girlfriend's house.

Shuffle Mode still broken it's always activated in Music App, I've Apple Music. Doesn't matter the size of the playlist or Albums.

I've had 11.2 on my iPhone since it was released, so I can't compare it to 11.1.1.

If your iPhone is showing the correct location, then the problem stem from the iWatch. If so, on the iWatch make sure Location Services is On and on the iWatch app, make sure Weather app is using either current location or set a default city.

Works for me. iPhone X. It worked on my 7 Plus too. It's not automatically activated, and it works fine when I do activate it.

What kind of issue you had? I have bmw 3 series e90 and I had a problem with bluetooth audio ( low volume, and answering phone call was dusconnecting phone) I had to go back to 11.1 and set iphone as new.

Let me ask you a question. When u swipe over to the widget screen does location services icon appear or icon get filled in? It should if weather is going out and trying to update.

When I go to the widget screen the location services icon don't appear, that is the problem and I have Allways uses location services turnned on for the weather app.

No, I personally never experienced that in beta 2, and I'm not experiencing it in the third beta either.

Constant problems with video playback in Twitter app on beta 2 / iPhone X.
