Not doing a lot with iTunes but I can backup and sync in iTunes 12.6.3 and iP6s. I am not syncing a ton of things just a handful but it doesn't complain about being incompatible and seems to work for what its worth. I believe the issue is mainly with the iPX tho and faceID.

I can Disable & Delete on my 7 Plus.

Well... Hope they are true! iOS 11 has been the most unstable iOS ever and Apple had to do something.

I remember seeing that behaviour in a Beta last year but further updates cleared it.

About one out of four times I tap in the google search box and the graphics jumps up and comes back down. I also vaguely remember this type of problem in an early beta.

No, the final release of iOS 11 (maybe 11.3.3) is your best bet. Doubt the 5s will run iOS 12.

I gave up and switched back to Spark a couple of days ago and so far it hasn't happened once. (I was up to it occurring at least once a day for each gmail account.)

They released an update to fix that issue yesterday.
