Books is working fine for me on my X and IPP 10.5. I use it on my IPP most nights.
Hmm. I wonder if my issues have anything to do with the fact that I have iCloud enabled for books and I’m still running 11.2.6 on my iPad Pro 10.5? That’s the only thing I can think of. Glad to know Books on 11.3 are running on your 10.5 though...I’ll probably update in a few days to see how it goes...
I've had this on my 6S+ for a while now and by that, I mean different beta's. Thought it was an older phone issue, clearly it isn't! It is very annoying.
Shure (microphones) claims 11.3 is out next week...which is very unlikely considering we are on beta 3 since Tuesday...
There is an issue with the MV88-microphone from Shure including 11.0-11.2.6 and 11.3 is supposed to be the solution according to Shure.

I’ve had issues with Automatic’s bluetooth connection in the car, as well as iTunes being weird in the car as well. Both reported to Apple and both issues introduced in PB3....
Books is not running well on my iPad Pro 10.5.
The folders don’t work, so everything is in The books folder. They used to be sorted into different sections, non fiction, mysteries, etc. the folders are still there, but they are empty. Even if I move books to their folders, they are still in books, not just library.
It won’t remember what book I am reading. And it is not on the top of the list, even though I have them arranged as most recent. This happens if I leave Books for any reason, not just if I close the app.
It occasionally crashes, and gives me a black screen.
It is worse with this update, before it would at least remember what I was reading.
That may be true, and it sucks. However, this is much noticeably worse than it’s been in the past (including the previous beta). I can’t even change what I have now.
Mine look fine on iPhone 7 Plus and I can change my backgrounds so perhaps do a clean install
Ah, thanks for letting me know it’s not just me. Yeah, I’ve reported it via the Feedback app with each new beta. Hopefully it’ll get fixed before long...
Oops, misspoke in a way! I should’ve said that I can change them, but doing so yields awful results. So it’s not worth changing from what I have currently.
Oh ok I thought you could not change them so I purposely changed mine a bunch of times ! Lol
Anybody having problems with Apple Pay on this beta? When I try to use it, I get a “Payment not Processed” error.
I use iCloud for my books too and everything seems to be ok. Although I did notice a couple appear to be out of order when I looked earlier (I have nearly 700 books, PDF and documents).
such a weird bug with the content blockers since beta 1. the toggle to enable the content blocker switches itself to off as soon as i open Safari. the only way to fix it is by installing a second content blocker. then it stays on for the original one
The PDFs I saved in the Books (formerly known as iBooks) app are gone. The books I downloaded from the App Store are visible but my PDFs are gone. I could see them in 11.2.6 (Stored in iCloud).

I'm having some issues since 11.X like:
- My phone became unresponsive with screen locked (buttons don't work, neighter tap to wake), when it unfreezes Siri was invoke (this happens since iOS 10).
- My car bluetooth connection is not reliable (Ford Sync 2), sometimes it is connected to the car, but doesn't play music by bluetooth and sometime after it's restored "automatic" (since 11.1).
