Anybody have this issue on their iPhone X or 8 Plus where the rear camera in portrait mode always say « move further away » ?

I do see that quite a bit. How close to your subject are you? I see it more if I'm within a couple of feet of what I'm shooting. Outside of that range not so much.

The text message bug is still happening for me. Sigh. iOS 11.3 Beta 3.

Think you could be a hair more specific?

Considering that I’ve used personal hotspot for nearly 5hrs, streamed for over an hour on 4G for Spotify, used Waze and Google Maps this is very good.

As with others, I've been having the following bugs on my 7 with 11.3b3:
- Slight swipe to the left on lock screen then release makes background go black.
- 3D touch unresponsive for a couple seconds after unlocking phone.
- Apple Music splash screen on Music app (only happened once, and I have Apple Music turned off).

Another issue I saw was the lock screen music controls were unresponsive and showing the wrong info. No matter whether I was playing different songs in the Music app, or some other audio through a third party app (Overcast), the lock screen controls would show it as stuck at 7 seconds into some random song I had skipped over in shuffle. Rebooting the phone fixed it.

Another issue I've had since iOS 11 is significant lag when using next/previous track controls in my car when playing over Bluetooth. If I'm listening to songs on shuffle, and hit next right when a new song starts, it won't actually skip to the next track til about 5 seconds into the song. It never used to do this prior to iOS 11. Also, for some reason very occasionally, like less than 5% of the time, the lag isn't there, and it's immediately responsive. Never been able to figure out exactly what the cause is.

Have you reported these bugs?

The text messages are out of order.

The fact that the message bug is still there in 11.3 beta 3 after Apple "fixed" it is ridiculous. iOS 11 is so broken that even Apple struggles fix it. Hopefully they address it before the end of the beta cycle. And the Weather widget too.

It was happening for me in message threads that were appearing in the instant answer mode (where you don’t have to unlock the phone or leave the app you’re in). But when I’d go to the main app, they’d be fine.

anyone having issues with the phone abruptly shutdown with power management disabled in iOS 11.3? Just curious.

That’s exactly what the power management is for, to prevent sudden shutdowns.

So is anyone who has it disabled experiencing these shutdowns? I have a new battery in my 6s, I don’t have them. Just wondering how big of an issue it is or is the occurrence overblown ?

Where is the power management option?

Random bug that only happens with one person. I’ll be texting them throughout the day. And randomly messages from 6 hours before will appear as new.

I don't think it's really an issue. The throttle kicks in before it can become a recurring problem. It'll automatically reenable itself otherwise.

Where is the power management option?
In Settings > Battery but only for certain iPhone models that have had at least one unexpected shutdown.

Just had this happen today. Coincided with the cellular data connection being messed up. Toggling the carrier radio wouldn't fix it - had to reboot the iPhone (iPhone X).

Reported.

Were you able to replicate the bug? I actually got a response back from Apple requesting for additional information but I couldn’t replicate it
