Anybody seeing this cosmetic bug? Inconsistent capitalization in Now Playing

hopefully they fix it in next beta but its not biggest problem, over all this better is so smooth on the X
So is it a “major bug” or “not biggest problem”?
Any luck with making a video showing the lag when using non Apple supplied wallpapers?

More annoyances with the Messages app...

If you delete a group conversation thread, that thread will no longer show up as a recent group when you compose a new message. Instead, you’ll have to manually assemble the group from scratch.

Normally, if I delete a conversation between me, Joe, and Sally...then begin to compose a new thread, a thread with Joe and Sally’s names will already be available as a “recent” conversation. That doesn’t happen anymore.

I would say the way it used to be was a bug and they fixed it. If you delete a conversation, it should no longer show up as a "recent" conversation since it doesn't exist any more. Which makes sense because you just deleted it...

I can sort of see that logic, but I personally find it very inconvenient.

I constantly delete my conversations. I like to live a clutter-free life so opening up the Messages app and seeing tons of old conversations bothers me.

However, just because I delete the conversation doesn’t mean I don’t want to jump right back in it...so it was always great to be able to select “new message” and be able to immediately find all of my deleted group threads. Just saves me the time of manually composing a new thread with everyone’s name.
[doublepost=1520360131][/doublepost]Also, when you delete a conversation in the Messages app, the “compose new message” icon in the upper right still disappears sometimes.

Anyone else have an issue with the keyboard where it sometimes just won't accept input? I'm on an iPad Peo 10.5, had to switch to another keyboard because it was getting in my nerves.

Why does messages on mac have a 'sync now' button but there isn't one on iOS yet for iCloud messages?

Is anyone else having an issue with iMessage not syncing correctly between a Mac and iOS? It works fine if I delete the message in iOS, but if I delete the message in MacOS, the message will not be deleted in iOS. I'm running the latest betas in both environments. I've also unchecked and rechecked the settings on my Mac as well as toggled off/on the setting in iOS. Any thoughts?

Probably because both are still in beta and all the iMessage issues have been ironed out.

After reading the last few beta threads. 1. I’m glad that I didn’t dive into this beta. I have messages dating back to 2014... and the database is over 30 gigs..
2. It seems that it’s nowhere near ready for primetime

I just reset my Hue Dimmer Switches and HomeKit refuses to work with them.

Home sees them, sees me pressing buttons, but doesn’t issue the proper commands to my lights.

Has anybody had any issues with contacts app? Since this beta all mi international prefix (+1, +52, +34, etc.) are gone in iPhone and iPad...

I’m with you on this one. I tend to keep all conversations except the groups and it drove me nuts that I would get a list of group suggestions under the contact’s name even though they didn’t exist anymore. I can remember a few times where the contact I was looking for was at the BOTTOM of the list of groups. THAT was annoying.

On an unrelated note, FaceID for 1Password access is working for me again (I’m pretty sure this one was only affecting me) which is nice because I like it a lot more than Dashlane.

3D Touch App Store “Update All” option seems to be show up consistently now

On X, when I screenshot, normally the screen would flash and a snippet of it on the lower left corner but no flash, no preview lower left corner and the screenshot does show in Photos app though

Interesting take. It only started appearing this way in beta 4. Always all caps in prior versions.
Yes, I remember in an early version of iOS 11 it used to say IPHONE on the music widget and it was changed to iPhone by final release. Seems the HomePod was only changed in this build according to post #30.

So far so good on this version, a lot more smooth and stable than beta 3 for me on my 8 Plus

Battery life doing well

All my contacts still retain their international prefixes. My contacts are all stored in iCloud.
