I see. My guess is that it's up to the app developer to enable or not this "home bar fading away" feature so it's not really Apple's fault.

...so let the developer know. It's an issue on their end.

yeah but even if it auto fades then once you touch to control it will re appear no?

No, it will only appear if you swipe up from the bottom of the screen (well from the side technically if you are playing in landscape) and you need to swipe up a second time if you want to exit. If you don't swipe up the second time, it will consider the swipe to be accidental and the home bar will fade away again in a few seconds. At least that's what it does in all my games, I'm surprised to hear that some games doesn't even support this feature.

yeah its so annoying on Asphalt 8 and Riptide Renagage 2 games I play a lot it fades but as soon as I steer left or right it comes back doesn't matter where I touch only way around it is to play using tint but I like to steer left and right
 
Grouped notifications and have the Wi-Fi off for good when deactivating from the Control Centre
 
I just want my iDevices to run smoothly with no basic bugs. My battery to last like it used to.
Bring back and show me that “it just works”.

I’m probably asking for far too much :(

I always hated that when I had an Android devices years ago and always accidentally press a button and then left the game. So annoying. One of the reasons I loved the iDevices with the home button. But now with iPhone X that is also I think indeed if you can't get rid of it during a game.

That space is for notifications basically. Apple provides widgets that can be accessed even from the lock screen. It's not likely they will offer things to add to the lock screen itself, at least not without a bigger iOS redesign most likely.

Would be nice. We had several tries with TouchID.

Would also be nice to somehow temporarily skip it and go straight to passcode. FaceID is terrible for someone who leaves their phone flat on the desk, using a MacBook and iPhone for most everything. But it’s there in the event there’s serious multitasking going on and there’s a dire need for screen real estate, and to quickly view notifications before deciding whether to use HandOff to dig in a little deeper on the iPad or MacBook, or if it’s time for the Invisibility Cloak of Procrastination.
 
I know it won't be implemented in iOS 11.3 but we need notifications groped by the respective app (like android) and dark mode for iPhone X

That's not even really like Android, but like iOS used to have for some time.
 
The biggest thing I want fixed is eeratic performance and stuttering on my iPad Pro. iOS 11 peromance has been abysmal considering how powerful the new iPad Pro is.

I wish for iCloud sync to work again across my devices.
From day 1 of iOS 11 it stopped.
Some works, some sometimes, calendar not at all, ever through iOS 11.

I also wish for the damn Apple yuppies to actually work on it.
Are they too rich and too ignorant today?
Those damn engineers want me to do the work for them, for free.
I wanted support.
I've sent in logs for both iPad once & iPhone twice.
Now my very nice senior said they wanted more logs.

I've had enough, I am not spending more time on it.
My senior agreed, we’ll keep in contact though.
Lazy f*** will they actually work on it soon?

Only been dysfunctional since Sept 17 2017.
This is Apple of today, the worlds richest company, right?
