Do the iMessage file sizes display correctly now?
Don't know, haven't installed this beta yet. I have reported this issue four times and I haven't heard from Apple yet. I know that a lot of people send in bug reports but I think its really strange that they haven't replied to a single one of my reports. To me, this is a huge bug...

Kind of annoying, but I may stick on beta 1 for a bit. My HomeKit setup is finally working well so I don't want to screw it up.

Funny, my Ecobee does not want to stay "reachable" at all since I installed b1. To fix it I either have to restart my phone and/or open the Ecobee app.

I have an Ecobee 3 and didn't have any issues with it and HomeKit on iOS 11.4.b1, running tvOS 11.4.b1. I have some non-response issues with other devices like my Leviton light switches. I had to factory reset the light switches to get them working again.
Right now, I updated my phone to 11.4b2 and can access my ecobee from work. I'll update my ATV later tonight.

I feel HomeKit app need to incorporate more info or features compared to actual device app.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong then. I set my advanced options in my hardware's respective apps and then just control scheduling and situational changes via the Home app.

Odd, my experience was the exact opposite. Ecobee was always rock solid, it was my Hue lights and iHome plug that would sometimes need me to reboot my phone. Now it's the Ecobee and everything else is fine.

I also have everything on 11.4b1.

I wouldn't say a mess, but it's got quirks that are maddening until you figure out how to solve them.

It may not be a HomeKit issue specifically, but smart home stuff in general. You need a lot of different things working in conjunction, but I have had HomeKit fail on me a ton as of late. No changes made to my setup and it just stops working.

Can someone test the described issues of iOS 11.3 and report back if they are still there in iOS 11.4 beta 2? I will update this post when someone test and report back them.
  • NOT TESTED - Widgets and search bar overlap during a call (Since iOS 11.0)
  • NOT TESTED - Emoji keyboard has duplicate emojis in the Frequently Used tab after resetting the keyboard settings (Since iOS 11.0)
  • NOT TESTED - Unlocking a device causes the keyboard to disappear for a moment if the keyboard is left open before locking the device (Since iOS 11.0)
  • NOT TESTED - 3D Touch Quick Actions cannot be initiated immediately after unlocking the device, takes 2 seconds waiting (Since iOS 11.3 beta 3)
  • NOT TESTED - Tapping on a notification immediately after opening Notification Center does not dismiss Notification Center (Since iOS 11.0)
  • NOT TESTED - App launch splash screen becomes black if open an app immediately after you close an app, test with 3D Touch multitasking to close app (Since iOS 11.2.5)
Of these issues, the only one that I can reproduce is the 3D Touch delay. I'm on iPhone X on iOS 11.4 beta 2. I'm not sure whether I have had any of these issues at any point in the past.

Is beta 2 better or worse than 11.3 ive waited cos of beta 1 being bad on the forum anyone with beta 2 is it smoother or worse
