strange bug... if you use the side buttons, it does work correctly. looks like they tried to fix the beta 1 ui issue and broke something else.

also, phone has to be unlocked/not on lock screen otherwise side buttons wont work (not sure if this is new behavior)

I’ve never had anything like that, even when I moved. I’d suggest resetting and starting over.
 
Are the super loud notification sounds now tamed down a bit? So the click and busted speaker sound doesn't happen now?
 
Looks like HomePod stereo pairing removed, added Lock/Unlock option under Display & Brightness for magnetic cases for iPhone X, and True Dark mode in iBooks removed too

Since ios11 or so. (Maybe even in ios10 too) I’ve always had to unlock the phone to control volume when using the side buttons. Unless it’s playing music. But I thought in earlier iOS’s you could without having to unlock.
 
Bluetooth audio cutout is much worse in this beta with AirPods and my Shure Bluetooth adapter. AirPods randomly lose sound in one ear.

Also, phone is on silent but notifications come in with sound and disconnect headphones. Could just be the horrible intel modem.. anyone else have issues with their sound?

  • NOT TESTED - Widgets and search bar overlap during a call (Since iOS 11.0)
  • NOT TESTED - Emoji keyboard has duplicate emojis in the Frequently Used tab after resetting the keyboard settings (Since iOS 11.0)
  • NOT TESTED - Unlocking a device causes the keyboard to disappear for a moment if the keyboard is left open before locking the device (Since iOS 11.0)
  • STILL THERE - 3D Touch Quick Actions cannot be initiated immediately after unlocking the device, takes 2 seconds waiting (Since iOS 11.3 beta 3)
  • NOT TESTED - Tapping on a notification immediately after opening Notification Center does not dismiss Notification Center (Since iOS 11.0)
  • NOT TESTED - App launch splash screen becomes black if open an app immediately after you close an app, test with 3D Touch multitasking to close app (Since iOS 11.2.5)

Duplicate emoji still exist in frequently used keyboard on my SE still even after reset keyboard dictionary but fewer duplicate

Is this volume slider on the lock-screen now playing widget new? Or am I just losing my mind? I’m sick as a dog right now so that’s a very real possibility. :p

Any news on Messages in the Cloud? How is that working in this beta?

One of the reasons I had to revert to release versions on both my Mac and iPhone was the lack of sync with messages and when it would, it would randomly.

The lock/unlock toggle has been there since the iPhone X release. It was just hidden if you didn’t have the folio case.
 
annoying bug for me - iPhone X iOS is ignoring my language setting (UK) and is auto correcting to US language in texts etc. eg favourite is being auto corrected to favorite
