Well, I did a measurement overnight and came up with a standby drain of 0.75%/hour so perhaps nothing has changed from past betas after all.

Note that a simple single overnight measurement suffers pretty heavily from rounding errors since the displayed battery level is rounded to the nearest 1%. Still, anything under 1%/hour isn't bad.

I guess than 1 percent for 6s is good!

Welp, there’s this bug

986A731D-72AD-4219-B996-E37E9F0451CC.jpeg

New Bug:
When asking Siri to play a specific song, it always results in the first song in my library being played and not the song requested. I’ve tried asking to play many different songs, and it always result in playing The A Team by Ed Sheeran as that’s the first song alphabetically in my music library.

Asking to play a specific artist works fine. Not sure when this bug was introduced tbh.
Easy fix: Whatever song you want Siri to play, first, simply edit the name of the song to append “AAA” to the beginning. Then, ask Siri to play any song.

Problem solved.

You’re welcome.

Anyone else having the issue where App Store is draining crazy amounts of battery and states audio underneath it?

While downloading from AppStore and Apple Music, battery drain is crazy!

Yes but in my battery info it states app store and has a huge percentage and then will state audio.

I have seen others have had this issue but wanted to see.

Is anybody else facing issues with Google search directly from the safari address bar? Mine just times out. I switched the default search provider to Bing and it works..

Has anyone seeing this issue before with Instagram app iphone 6s 11.4 bata 2

iCloud Message is a MESS

1 I cannot delete any images attached on iMessage like the „delete“ button doesn’t do anything.

2. Space is all over the place

iPhone:

On the list of how much each app is taking up locally: 75 mb

On the „show big attachments“ screen: empty

On iCloud: 1 GB but if you click on it, it shows 93 mb

Inside the actual iMessage conversations: LOTS of images I cannot delete (ref point 1)

iPad:

on the list of how much each so is taking up locally: 133 mb
On the „show big attachments: screen: empty

yet documents and data shows 133 mb

on iCloud: 1 GB but if I click on it, it shows 490 mb

Inside the actual iMessages conversations: LOTS of images I cannot delete (ref point 1)

It’s not isolated to Instagram. Happened to me 3 or 4 times with different apps. Don’t know what triggers the problem so I can’t reproduce it.

A billion times this. I have no idea why syncing a database between multiple devices would be so hard seeing how there are plenty of applications that have done it and done it well, but yes to all of this. My iCloud messages is behaving pretty much exactly has described above, completely erratic. It behaving like that does explain why it was a feature that was announced at the introduction of iOS 11 about a year ago and never shipped. I appreciate them not shipping a feature that doesn’t work properly, but I have no idea why they can’t seem to get this to work properly.
