Two more betas then release so WWDC lines up perfectlyI don't think you need worry, they'll certainly have more than one team of programmers
A company the size of Apple will have many, many teams all tasked with certain jobs. The teams involved with IOS 12 will already be working on it (and have been for a while). Same as they have teams that deal with updates to older IOS versions.
I'd expect 11.4 to be released end of May, early June. Very much doubt in 2 weeks but hell.... stranger things have happened!
So after waiting through the night it’s not looking too promising that iCloud messages is working for me. The test iPhone I setup as new downloaded some messages, but not a lot. The iPhone X and iPad Pro still have different amounts of messages on them. I got optimistic when I saw the amount of space used in iCloud was much closer to the true amount of messages contained on my devices, it doesn’t appear to have changed the actual syncing situation though. On a good news front, the messages that are on each of the devices will delete in unison when I remove a message from any one of the devices. So parts of the iCloud messaging features are working properly. I really think that with all the stops and starts and such of the iCloud messaging I’ve had that I just need a reset and start fresh on my iCloud account. There doesn’t seem to be a good way to do that, though. Deleting the messages from iCloud starts a 30 day timer with no way to speed that up, and for testing purposes on these beta cycles 30 days is a long, long time. Can you tell us if it syncs everything over including messages before the feature was turned on?
What’s the difference between the two build numbers? 15F5061d, 15F5061e
Is one Dev and other public beta? I’m on 15F5061d.
Thanks.
Thanks. Is that for iPhone only?61d seems for older devices (5S-7) and 61e for newer devices (8-X)
Thanks. Is that for iPhone only?
iPad Pro 10.5 is on 61d as well.
Where are you getting your IPSW?Hey, everyone. I have an iPhone 7 A1779. I always install beta IPSW's via iTunes, because for some reason, I just don't trust OTA.
Anyway, for beta 3, I have been experiencing this:
![]()
It's saying "The iPhone could not be updated because the firmware file is not compatible". This is the first time I have experienced this ever. I downloaded the specific IPSW that is for my iPhone thrice and tried installing each, to no avail... Is anyone experiencing this also?
I got the IPSW from this link --- http://updates-http.cdn-apple.com/2...iPhone_4.7_P3_11.0_11.4_15F5061e_Restore.ipswWhere are you getting your IPSW?

Nope, against forum rules.Would you be kind enough to give me the link to the iPhone 7 iOS 11.4 Beta 3 IPSW, please?
The only (proper) way you'll get the IPSW is through the Apple Developer Portal.Even send via private message?
Oh... The thread creator suggested (via private message) to get the IPSW from The iPhone Wiki, where I also download beta IPSW's. Is that not a good source of the IPSW links? The only (proper) way you'll get the IPSW is through the Apple Developer Portal.
The majority likely simply do it all OTA as that's basically how it's done for Apple's Public Beta Program (and those who do it via a developer account either do it OTA or get it from Apple's Developer Portal).Do any people here download beta IPSW's ... ?
My 8+ has 61e. iPP 9.7 has 61d.Thanks. Is that for iPhone only?
iPad Pro 10.5 is on 61d as well.
