New Issues
  • In the Control Center, volume slider indicator delay (seen before in beta 2 #41)
  • Screen Recording doesn’t record anything from TV.app in this build, no matter it’s home video or from streaming service. Whereas Screen Recording is OK with infuse.app (third party)
  • "Black Dot of Death" bug crashes Message app
Remaining Issues
  • Peek and Pop (3D Touch) doesn’t work on an Apple News link
  • When you set a perspective wallpaper and move your phone, it doesn't have the necessary animation. (For iPhone X, there no such behavior) Update: Happened on X, but it got fixed by itself.
  • All message threads and attachments in a message conversation is not fully restored after doing a clean install.

Can anyone test if the following issues still applies to this build?

Remaining Issues
  • All message threads and attachments in a message conversation is not fully restored after doing a clean install.
  • In the Message app, 3D Touch an Apple News article failed to peak and preview or any related apple.news extension link elsewhere
  • Messages can be displayed out of order occasionally (#137)
  • TV app
    • duplicate movies, tv shows and episodes (#177)
    • seasons out-of-order (#177)
    • wrong TV show title in multiple places (#177)
    • downloaded movies don't show up if you switch to the airplane mode (#270)
    • unable to stream some TV shows on cellular connection
    • "remove download" pop-up contents not centered vertically (#306)

  • STILL THERE- Widgets and search bar overlap during a call (Since iOS 11.0)
  • STILL THERE - Emoji keyboard has duplicate emojis in the Frequently Used tab after resetting the keyboard settings (Since iOS 11.0)
  • STILL THERE - Unlocking a device causes the keyboard to disappear for a moment if the keyboard is left open before locking the device (Since iOS 11.0)
  • STILL THERE - Tapping on a notification immediately after opening Notification Center does not dismiss Notification Center (Since iOS 11.0)
  • STILL THERE - App launch splash screen becomes black if open an app immediately after you close an app, test with 3D Touch multitasking to close app (Since iOS 11.2.5)

Is anybody able to install from the dev site? Looks like somebody had a little premature clicking of the button lol
 
Build number 5071 is strange, because last build was 5061, but there were only 5 or 6 work days since last beta.

10 new builds are regulary only happening on two-week-cycle.

Companies don't always strictly adhere to one build per day when developing software.

I'd like to think this means there's more hands involved in the bug-fix mission before the iOS 11 development cycle comes to a close.

Not really but could be. That letter is the number of builds of that build. So like a=1st b=2nd etc. So the theory is since they release on an initial version of THAT build then things must be getting better. (as for example an f or 6th version of the same build). But it doesn't really indicate how many builds there will be before final necessarily.
