Just to close this out: I now see what you mean. Beta dropped at 10am PDT, but the thread was created at 9:57am PDT, or 3 minutes before the beta dropped. My guess is @Banglazed anticipated the new beta and had the thread ready to go. I believe the timestamp is from when you first hit the "New Thread" button. Being prepared like that is how you get all the "Thank you Banglazed" posts!

I work in IT. It’s going to take way more than that to upset me.
Regarding the topic at hand, my download progress has frozen at “5 minutes remaining” twice now. This type of thing DOES upset me.
This bug is still present. Even locked up my messages app the first time I tried it.

I doubt that. iCloud Message is a very big feature, and there have been quite a few issues with prior betas. Airplay 2 still isn't able to do multi-room audio output to multi-Homepods or Apple TVs.

it was said that the X got a modem firmware downgrade. But the iP6s got a bump from 4.56.00 to 4.60.00.
Does this mean for example (finally!):
If a HomePod and Apple TV in the Bedroom are both named "Bedroom"
Now Playing and the Home app will show Bedroom for both?
Rather than Bedroom (1), Bedroom (2)?
Qualcomm iPhone 8/8+/X also got a modem firmware upgrade. 1.91.00 to 1.93.00.
Firmware downgrades aren't unheard of. The current gen Qualcomm iPhones got a modem downgrade shortly before the release of 11.3 for example.
In the Control Center, there is a delay response for the volume slider indicator if you lower all the way down, the indicator will show mute after a few seconds and vice versa if you raise the volume.
