In the Control Center, there is a delay response for the volume slider indicator if you lower all the way down, the indicator will show mute after a few seconds and vice versa if you raise the volume.

This may be an intentional change. Maybe they are getting rid of the animation and now iOS waits to see where you are going to leave the volume before it updates the icon.

Is it fixed that the battery stand-by time and usage time are sometimes the same for iPhone X?

When the betas start coming out every 1 week instead of every 2 and when PB comes out same day as developer beta is when lightweights like me hop on the beta train. Thanks to all of you for braving the first few betas and clearing the path for the rest of us.

This has nothing to do with X. It happens also on all other iPhones. It was also happening long before X was released.

Well the public OTA put my iPhone X into restore mode. Now the hunt for an IPSW download begins. This type of thing is a good reason for them to just be available, but reasons.

Thats not an issue with the X or iOS 11.x. Its typically an issue with an app running or hung in the background. Mail and iCloud are common culprits, not the device or even iOS itself. Try and determine what apps seem to be using battery and troubleshoot from there. Try turning off any mail acct and reboot and see if the issue goes away. Or sign out of iCloud and reboot and see. Perhaps simply close all apps then reboot and try it.

iPhone 8+ here. DO NOT UPDATE. It’s like they didn’t even test this. Apps won’t close, messages is buggy and the power button randomly stops working. I just spent 15 minutes trying to get my phone back into usable state after the Messages app Got wonky and nothing was working.

How do I reboot? And how do I sign out of iCloud? I only see an option to sign out of Apple ID in the top of Settings.

I had an alarm set to leave for work and had just completed the update but had not typed my code into unlock after the reboot yet and could not turn the alarm off !

Strange bug ! Not sure if it’s New or just the first time it had happened !

Hopefully this fixes the issue I only just noticed on Saturday where my phone screen would go black sometimes when in portrait mode

My iPhone X is getting very warm when using Safari on beta 4. Anyone else with same experience?

A bit dramatic no? I’ve had zero issues in my X with this beta.

Update: My iPhone X now gets hotter than normal within 5 minutes of active use no matter what app I use (internet related app usage). After 15 minutes of usage the phone is so hot that the screen is dimmed, just as when using the phone in hot sun.

My HomePods are Livingroom (43) and Livingroom (55) for whatever reason.
That’s a bonjour bug that first appeared in 2015 with AppleTVs. Every time it disconnects and reconnects from the network, it gains a number. Looks like the bug has been carried over into HomePod software.

I have an AppleTV in my house that is up to (361).
