Can someone explain the Files app to me? I do not have the beta. Does it combine cloud services and local files all in one place? Can you store files for offline use? Does this make iCloud Drive (the iOS app) useless? Do you think they will integrate the iCloud Drive app into the Files app?

I agree with the dock. But the Files app is working just fine on the iPhone. Glad to have it there.

Yep, QR reader is integrated in the Camera app. It's just that they announced it when they were talking about Japan, so this is why people are confused. At the beginning, I thought it was available for Japan users only, too.

Long press maybe? I'm not sure. I have to 3D Touch, no more slide to the left.

I don't think they'll implement it as it won't fit well because of the screen size. What's more, I don't think that the dock will be useful on iPhone. The same goes for the Files app.

As far as I remember the zoom lens doesn't have an optical image stabilization. So how can the portrait mode use that kind of stabilization in IOS 11?

The beta has been running smoothly. Battery life is okay at best, falling faster than I'd like it to. Other than that all my apps are working fine and I haven't run into a bug that isn't tolerable.

I think it's good to differentiate between the two docks, since the iPad dock has some additional functionality compared to the iPhone dock.

Anyone else having issues accessing their iPhone through iTunes? I've been trying to for the past 10 mins using the Apple cable and 3rd party cables I have and I can't get it to show in iTunes? I have the latest version of iTunes (12.6.1.25).

I'm trying to perform a restore back to 10.3.3 B2 - any help would be appreciated!

I cleared everything from the app switcher and app launching is now instantaneous. Before this I had tried rebooting etc. This was the only thing that worked for me.

I cleared mine out and reloaded the "old content" and now the glitch (it looked like a springboard crash, almost) is gone for me as well.

No 3D Touch swipe in from the left, though. :\
