Unfortunately no. PIP is the one thing I hoped Apple would include. I don’t see why they haven’t already considering it’s on the iPad.

I've noticed that auto-brightness actually works when you stay in the Settings app. Not too sure about after exiting though, because I never really notice the brightness changing.
Is this data widget new to iOS 11? Or is this from a 3rd-party app? I remember seeing carrier data usage as one of the features on one of their slides yesterday.
These new rounded corners are going to look great on the iPhone 8

The 3D Touch app switcher us a bug and not a feature removal.
Of course, on this issue, what I say has no significance to what Apple is doing.
Very helpful new addition to the iCloud Backup screen. When restoring from backup, it now shows exactly how much data is left to restore. Nice move Apple!!
It's gone. I read somewhere that there were too many social media apps to add them all, so Apple removed them all.
A few questions/thoughts -- I've NOT installed myself. *yet*
* I would imagine battery life is really bad after the first install as various things are indexed - including potentially photos/faces. there may be some other data migration too. There could be additional debug in the code, and less well optimized code, though I'd be surprised if the hit was of the order of magnitude indicated. rather just a small amount
* Has anyone had issue with Bluetooth streaming (car) or Spotify/audio over lightning (also car)?
I'm sure I'll install it later ;-)

I’m running it on my iPhone 7 and so far battery life is SLIGHTLY worse. Nothing significant like previous betas. That being said, it’s a beta so YMMV. In terms of audio over lightning, no issues whatsoever in the few hours I’ve used it in my car the past 18 hours since it released
apologies if already mentioned, but noticed that you can move multiple apps around on your home screens at the same time. They group up and allow bulk moving
I found a bug. The stock mail works as normal with an iCloud account. However, both my wife and I have an outlook account too. The iPhones (7 and 6s) push the notifications. You hear the sound and the screen comes on. But, there is no mail banner on the lock screen. The banner works on the home screen. I have checked and I have it activated in both phones, just like the iCloud account. It worked with the latest IOS 10 beta. Not now with iOS 11 - 1st beta.

Could someone check if there is any crossfade option added for the Music app? It could be in the settings app under Music or maybe in Music itself. Have been hoping for this for a while (Spotify has it it) but each major releases comes and goes without it.
Agreed. No app names in the dock seems to be a reasonable move. They are, by definition, apps you use all the time... so you certainly should recognize the icons at a glance... not to mention the effect of muscle memory making the names totally irrelevant - at least for the dock.

Sluggish to "ok", at least for me... lots of indexing going on, first beta, etc... so not too concerned at this point. BTW, this is NOT my daily driver... won't put iOS 11 there (7+) for another 3-4 beta releases.
For some reason iOS 11 beta 1 seems to have many of those 'leave the phone there for a while and it clears itself up' problems.
Perhaps Apple's new machine learning at work?
It appears to be back, only now, I can't move the two new Apps I installed. They're on my second homescreen and refuse to move elsewhere.
EDIT: Resolved after restart. However there's a graphical artifact where an app moved in a folder will either not show an icon there or show multiple of the same icon.
