Hopefully it isn't! Seems like a really useful feature for faster workflow (imagine just dragging an image from Files to WhatsApp instead of going to the Photos selection and tapping on the Files location and navigating again...)

I can't even get it to do that on my iPhone 7+. When the pic is in the compose text field, how do you "select" it for dragging (I haven't tried D&D on the iPad yet)? Holding my finger on the pic does nothing, and force press does nothing either.

A day and a half in its still surprisingly stable for a beta at least with my own milage (individual milage may vary). No springboard crashes yet though i have had it stutter. Otherwise bugs are pretty much what people have reported. The player stays on the lock screen when you play music or youtube even if you close the app and kill it in the multi-tasker. Ive been lucky in that I’ve not had an app crash yet though I’ve had issues with safari freezing from time to time.

Tap and hold it and move it a bit, you’ll see a green plus sign on the top right corner of the image.

You mean similar to how you move app icons on the home screen? If so, my iP7+ doesn't let me.

Anyone knows what the purpose of the ‘On My iPhone’ section in Files is for? Seems to not be able to accept files for some reason.

I don’t know know if it was mentioned already but there is the multiple icon selection on the iPhone when moving an app icon. Keep pressing and tapping more icons. This way you can move them from screen to screen/folders a lot easier.

I've been watching some videos of iOS 11 and I'm loving that iMessage is synced across all devices.
Can I just confirm though, does that include deleting, will that also delete it from the other devices as well?

Oh man, I’m gonna need to figure out how to turn this off. I delete all iMessage threads from my phone, but like to have them all available on my iMac in case I ever need to refer to them.

Lol! I'm hoping it DOES delete them across all devices, I don't use iMessage on my MacBook for that specific reason of having to delete everything twice!

If your timer rings, ios 11 gives you a „repeat“ button and that starts the ringing timer again with the same time.

i know the AppStore is buggy but is there any way to have my apps update or re-installed again?

Load the Flac files into your cloud drive, and then open in the files app.

This seems so convoluted to me. Why should we need to upload to cloud just to get files onto the device (Uses unnecessary bandwidth & assumes you have enough free iCloud storage for it too, or are willing to pay Apple for more). Why won't Apple just let us copy files directly to our devices from our Mac through the Finder. Give us one folder on the iOS FS, and let us copy whatever files we want to it - and those files can be opened by whatever iOS app we want w/o having to duplicate/snapshot the file. Since FLAC support is built-into the OS at the moment and only accessible via Files, I don't suppose we can use the iTunes "app" file transfer interface to copy these files locally either? Seems like Apple might be prioritizing their profitable Cloud services over common-sense local transfers.

I am able to update all, update individual apps, and resinstall apps in my app store. I have closed all my open apps, restarted it (both yesterday, day 2 with it) and it is much better, but it still is clearly a Beta 1.

Are there new Dynamic wallpapers? I was watching an iOS 11 video and the reviewer seemed to have a black dynamic one, or at least way greyer than the current one.

Has anyone found a way to quickly clear notifications on lockscreen? IE like swipe left and click clear on iOS 10.

That's doesn't appear to be possible any more. The only way I found to do it on my iP7+ is to Force Touch the notification, and it either give me options if they are coded to show any, or it just gives a little X in the top left, and I can dismiss the notification. But it's not nearly as intuitive the swipe and clear was.
