What happens if you plug into iTunes?

Or look at the General -> About, instead of Storage?

Still off..

Battery life is improved in this beta. Finally.

Side note.
Whatever my phone was doing has stopped. Performance just got fast again. There is still stutters and frame rate drops but apps loading and general navigation has sped up.

How hard is it to make pressing home button shut app like ios 10.3.3 theres still a delay its annoying and i aint keep moaning but apple needs to stop the chopyness on ios 11 10 betas are insane to still have problems by now it should be perfect
They want you to buy the new iPhone; when you press the home button it will....oh, wait....where’s the home button? Now you know why they didn’t bother with your complaint in beta 1 or 2 or 3 or.........

No 3D Touch Lag noticeable here on my 7+, hope in this beta that my phone don't over heats, because in the las one, it was doing that, so the battery life was not great even with power saving on.

Does anyone else have this issue? It says that I’ve only used 51 gb of my 128, but my Apple Music says I’ve taken up 80gb?? Any ideas? Maybe I’m just an idiot. I download all my music from Apple Music that way I don’t use data, so I’m confused.

I had a similar issue after updating from beta 3 to 4 (I believe)... the update had signed me out of Apple Music/App Store/iTunes Store/disabled iCloud Music Library, yet it still had all of my previously downloaded music on the device (I could see it under the Music Storage in Settings).

What I had to do was completely remove all of the music manually (again under Music Storage), then I signed back into Apple Music/App Store/iTunes and proceeded to re-download my music again.

However, the weird thing is when I go to the Phone Storage, my bar graph is messed up as well, as it still thinks all of that previous music is still on my device. And the really weird thing is I can go into one of the sub-menus in Phone Storage (Photos, for example), and when I back out to the bar graph page, it fixes itself to show the current current storage used and available (although it says I am currently using 34/64 GB but the bar still doesn't look 100% accurate). I can reproduce this 100% of the time.

The bizarre thing is Apple specifically mentioned they fixed this in one of their beta notes. I guess they didn't count on people having issues with offline music, which is what I think is causing the bar graph to read incorrectly for some people.

This same issue happened in the iOS 9 beta except at the time it didn't have a way to manually remove the old music, so it was stuck taking up half my phone space with no way to fix it, I wound up having to wipe the phone completely to get the space back. I should have learned my lesson then...

I’m pretty sure this is a rare bug of beta testing. It happened to me last year with the beta that introduced night shift. There was literally nothing I could do to get the correct storage usage to be shown or for it to match what’s shown in iTunes. My only solution after almost a year was to get another device.

Wow, can't believe the voice memo bug is still there with the beta 10 along with some graphic bug on smart invert color. iOS 11 is one of the worst iOS release I saw in term of obvious bug in a long time.

Touch ID speed on 7 Plus is basically 1st gen speed now. Not sure whats happening.
Even I noticed the reduction in performance. If too many people make noise, it will be passed as bug. Otherwise they have to show everyone that new iPhone 8 iris scanner is fastest. Hence the speed adjustment.

So did you report to to Apple for each beta? Or ..

I haven't had any 3D Touch or closing app lag since beta 1, inclusive. And that's not to say that it doesn't exist for some, just a note to those saying "I won't upgrade then" because a few people are complaining. I don't think it's anywhere near as wide spread as the caps lock posters would have us believe.

Restart. Then DFU restore/install. If that still doesn't work, downgrade. It's simple.

Still a ways to go for the iPad Pro 12.9 ..... and I am over sending them feedback sent the same stuff to them for the last 7 betas to no avail

How is it possible you don’t have the issue yet just about everyone else does?

Still have that annoying bug hanging around where dock icons dim, typically when pulling up Control Center. Won’t reset its appearance unless you open the app in question.

What I mean is these are the same phones. Your saying you don’t see 3D Touch lag? It’s pretty hard not to see.

It's not that I don't see it, it's that I don't have it. My 3D Touch opens everything instantly, as before.

I understand both sides but you also have to agree that speed is what makes an iPhone an iPhone. There’s a reason why I came from an Android device to an iPhone, the smoothness and speed of the UI and apps.

Just because it’s a beta doesn’t mean we can’t ask or share our experiences. Isn’t that the whole purposes of this thread? To discuss the beta as a whole?
