I don’t see beta 2 being PB1, it is very buggy than previous beta...
Maybe the next week we’ll see beta 3 (I know it s a short period)
Or the beta 1 would be pb1?

Unlock the device while staying on the Cover Sheet and tap the notification. Or, 3D touch on the notification and then tap its body again. Authenticate and it will send you in.
That’s definitely more complicated, CC and NC really need some work. Thank you for your answer :)

They’re putting emphasis on the use of 3D touch so it seems less gimmicky.

Everyone said it was a joke, now it is the sole method for interacting with certain elements.
Yeah but most devices don’t have 3D Touch. In my opinion they really messed up big time with NC and notifications itself. What used to be quick and simple steps is now unintuitive and requires more steps.

(The forbidden sentence: even on Android it’s now simpler :p and no I don’t use android)

I see what you mean, referring to my iPad. Don’t forget though, we have two (or more) devices that will support it in September, and that’s Apple’s primary focus.

My cards are still there and I deleted one and added it back in and looks like it’s fine. I haven’t used it yet though so not sure if it’s working.

I tried downgrading to iOS 10.3 and end up in DFU mode which later found out was the issue with iOS 11 B2. So reflash back to iOS 11 B2, changed Region several times with hard restart, no luck. For some reason, the Wallet doesn't show the Apple Pay under Setting or within Wallet app itself. Strange.

But they shouldn’t render notifications useless/more complicated just in favor of a new device. Even after the iPhone 8 release there will be way more “older” devices than there’ll be the new device. The new notifications behavior is just bad, as discussed in almost all forums.

There are plenty of posts about Hotspot not working. I have the opposite complaint. Somewhere along the way iOS changed to enable my iPad to turn on the Hotspot on my iPhone even though the iPhone has the Hotspot setting set to off. The main problem is that the iPhone hotspot turns on and stays on. That is crazy! I used up all my data allowance one time because the network order on my iMac had the iPhone at the top (now fixed but so annoying). I now leave Hotspot off but just found that the iPad can over-ride this [cross post from Apple discussions]
(Oops -old iOS version here but the sentiment stiil applies)

For that matter, the new behavior is way better because now, it just disconnects and disable auto join without turn off wi-fi. On iOS 10, I often disabled wi-Fi on Control Center because I wanted to disconnect from a bad wi-fi and forgot to turn it on at home consuming my cellular data unnecessarily. Now I don’t have to worry about it anymore. I can disconnect a bad Wi-Fi and still connect at home automatically.
I kind of agree with you but just did a test. I've got two WiFi networks here, and was hoping that if I hit the disconnect option in the CC that it would then connect to the other network. Nope, it disconnects and then does nothing until you manually connect to another network.

Under iCloud storage I have messages and health listed twice.

Also my watch is showing as not connected under Bluetooth settings and the name is showing the MAC address but strangely my watch is working fine and showing connected on my watch and all functions are working fine over Bluetooth.

FaceTime doesn't rotate to landscape mode (iPhone 6S) unless I suspend it, go into safari, put that into landscape mode then go back to FaceTime. Even then I often get weird glitches such as my own image not showing top right.

I haven't logged this in the wiki as a bug because I've had this issue on and off (about rotating, not the other glitches - they're new) since iOS10. Maybe it's just me. I'm putting off doing a "set up phone as new" for as long as possible as I'd like to avoid doing that.

It must be your phone. I am on B2 and using cellular data right now.
my carrier is T-Mobile, im going to try a fresh install and see if that changes anything, if that doesn't do anything, ill downgrade to iOS 10 see if that works, ill report back

Another solid beta, especially on mini 4. This can easily be used as a daily driver IMO. Can only imagine how good the final version is going to be. I’ve never known such solid early betas.

Potential workaround for those experiencing issues closing apps: Try returning to the home screen first, before opening the app switcher to close said app(s). Takes some getting used to but it’s worked for me every time.
I just open a couple of apps and close them from left to right on the App Switcher, works for me.

Been experiencing this since beta 1, but it’s also a new machine. Keychain for logins does not work in Safari, only for other apps. Bug?
