I still get it with Waze. Have Waze on screen, return to the home screen, get the blue bar saying Waze is using my location. Doesn't go away unless I kill Waze. Google maps doesn't do this, unless I'm actively navigating. Waze does it whether I'm navigating or not.It seems all the "Personal Hotspot style" blue colored bar that appears at anytime where third party apps attempt location service is all gone for good (was a bit of a problem during Beta 1)
Anyone still sees it?
my carrier is T-Mobile, im going to try a fresh install and see if that changes anything, if that doesn't do anything, ill downgrade to iOS 10 see if that works, ill report back
It seems to be. I remembered to turn it back on this morning, and I haven't seen any of the brightness drops from DP1.
Still there for me.It seems all the "Personal Hotspot style" blue colored bar that appears at anytime where third party apps attempt location service is all gone for good (was a bit of a problem during Beta 1)

Pretty sure that's by design.Name apps in dock don´t show in this beta still.
It's still not working. Definitely hoping it returns. I used it a lot.Is 3D Touch for App Switcher working in this beta? I hope it's not been removed.
But the good news is that the options in the new Control Center are all available for non-3DTouch devices as well. I think that's pretty cool. Hoping to see it applied to Clear All button in NC.Yeah but most devices don’t have 3D Touch. In my opinion they really messed up big time with NC and notifications itself. What used to be quick and simple steps is now unintuitive and requires more steps.
(The forbidden sentence: even on Android it’s now simplerand no I don’t use android)
I think it's gone. I was surprised that it had fans. I disliked it. I found it both awkward to trigger and too easy to trigger accidentally in a few programs (mostly games, admittedly) that required presses close to the left edge. It's still not working. I have a feeling we'll see a new way to trigger it on the iPhone 8 that doesn't involve double pressing the "virtual home button".I think it's gone. I was surprised that it had fans. I disliked it. Try Reset All Settings. It should clear most of these. This beta has more bugs than beta 1. Killing apps is glitchy a f, talking on calls happens only on speaker, the animations are laggy, safari crashes on videos, the status bar overlaps sometimes. I feel like updating from 10.3.2 to beta 1 then 2 made things worse for me.
Try Reset Network Settings as a first attempt to fix

Oh man, it sucks if it's gone. Simply the best way to avoid wearing out the already delicate Home Button.I think it's gone. I was surprised that it had fans. I disliked it. I've never had Home button issues on any of my iPhones, iPads, or Ipod Touches. I guess I can see how it could be. (But starting with the iPhone 7, the Home button is no longer a moving part.)Oh man, it sucks if it's gone. Simply the best way to avoid wearing out the already delicate Home Button.![]()
I think I mentioned this, but this is normal for Waze... It never showed in iOS10, but if you're not actively in a point-to-point navigation, it STILL does track you in the background unless you kill it... same for me for years. it's nice because it still alerts me to things if i go out...I still get it with Waze. Ja it possible Go downgrade Go 10.3.2 without iTunes....? Also only via ota?
Multitasking still not working on iPad Pro 9,7? I still can't seem to swipe in from the right to show the app switcher
Hmm. I will have to try this once I get more notifications.
SHE CAN GO OUT IN A F******* DIAPER AND THEYD BE LIKE....OH, YOU'RE SMILING!
Same here. Cannot update two random apps in beta 2. Restart does not solve problem. So weird how I had zero App Store issues with beta 1, but beta 2, I can't install updates.
It doesn’t work that way in iOS 11
This will help me keep from connecting to the wrong wifi as I re-enter the house.Found a new "feature" in the WiFi settings for networks - "Auto Join" - I didn't see this in B1. Screen shots:
