Noticeable lag on new iPad Pro 12.9 when swiping up for control panel that wasn't there on 11.3.

1st or 2nd gen? My 2nd gen 12.9 is as smooth as its always been with the control panel.

Can someone please check the behaviour of notifications?
Do new mail notifications come for mails received in favorited folders?
I am not getting them.

For me, until now, I finally get notifications for mails redirected to a sub folder in inbox folder. Before that, all the time from iOS 9 to iOS 10, I did not receive any.

Is the phone still running super hot for anyone? Like a fireball by the camera? Top right of phone? One reason I downgraded and battery life. I am contemplating coming back to beta.

Not so hot anymore but performance is still a bit worse than it should be.

Awesome, just noticed that 3D Touch on the home screen is now fixed on iPhone 7 Plus.

iPhone 7+. Noticed significant battery improvement. CPU doesn’t tach up much while idle and doesn’t “stick” at 50-60% for lengthy periods. Seems to idle at 10-15% with Safari accessing a page bumping it up to 95%.

Dang another cool feature removed! You used to be able to transfer downloaded files into the Files app. Not anymore.

I downloaded a pdf yesterday before I updated and used that feature for the first time. I don’t understand why they would remove such a handy feature ☹️

So glad the app switcher automatically closes when everything is shut down again, even though I'm kinda used to pressing the screen now lol.

Who says they're not paying attention? A couple of people on a forum don't like an icon change that's been made (shocker), and all of a sudden Apple don't care about design anymore? The dramatics, lol.

It's not just about some icons. To name a few.. Magic Mouse 2, iPhone battery case, iOS redesign. And I'm passing on the fact that MacBooks are getting thinner and thinner, but with the same design since like 2012. At least they are still beautiful though. And iPads are the same too since the iPad Air, but now with protruding cameras of course. Apple design today seems lazy and definitely not forward thinking like it used to be.

I'm pretty happy about iOS 11 beta 4 so far. Beta 3 wasn't all too bad, but it definitely had its issues. Glad at least some of those have been resolved. And I do like most of the 'design' tweaks as well, including the new behavior of the appswitcher and folders. Good to see Apple actually taking care of the details again. Hope they'll continue this, and make iOS 11 as stable as iOS 10 was for me.

The other poster is right though. It's a beta. Just stay away from it because every single beta will be the same until it's official release AT THE VERY LEAST. Save yourself the bother. Sounds like you installed it just to moan.
