Anyone having trouble backing up photos to services like Google Photos or OneDrive? Not all but some of my phots will not back up to either service. OneDrive shows a blank in place of the photo that should be there. Google photos will not backup some photos and pops up with a message stating, "Not backed up. Too big or unknown type".

May be due to the HVEC codec they're using to compress photos taken in iOS 11? It could be that the apps need updated to support it. I know the beta release notes said certain apps (i.e. Tweetbot) are currently unable to upload photos taken in the beta.

I’ve had the same problem for years as well, my Mac seemed to be left out and the text replacements stopped syncing to it. I tried just about everything to fix it.... I’m happy to report that with iOS 11 beta and macOS High Sierra beta, the syncing has started working for me again. I just hope it stays this way!

Thank you for answering me ! Let's keep our fingers crossed .

I restored from a backup and it's been about 5 hours and the Photos app still seems to be restoring or updating. Any idea what the intended behavior is for photos being restored to a device on iOS 11? It seems to be a huge battery hog and potentially causing other issues with apps since it's using so much CPU in the background.

May be your backup is corrupted?

No, I’m not sure of the intended behavior for photos to be restored on iOS 11, but your problem doesn’t sound like it’s working correctly. Still sounds like a corrupted backup to me.

Since, the newest beta, my battery is much better. My phone has been off of the charger for 15 hours today. I’ve texted, used Bluetooth earbuds for listening to music for hours, been on fb, and I streamed America’s Got Talent tonight.

I know this isn’t a PB4 change, but this is the first Beta that I’ve installed. It feels odd to me to only have 4 bars for cell signal. I don’t mind them going away from the dots. It’s just the number of bars. Prior to the dots in iOS 10, weren’t there 5 bars?

I think it’s probably a move to make the footprint smaller for the “iPhone 8”.

I'm not getting notification sounds on WhatsApp, and when I do, it is much later than getting the pop-up banner. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Are you sure you are running Beta 4 (which this thread is for)? The current beta is Developer beta 8 and public beta 7.
