Um "delayed" could also mean delayed until Thursday.

I agree haha sounds like they are rushing to get bug fixes pushed out the door as soon as they believe they are ready without fully 100% testing as thoroughly as they would like
Not unusual for all kind of software out there, even down to things that run on people's modems and routers as far as their internet connectivity goes through an ISP, or things that get updated on the side of telephone or television providers, etc.
