You are right. I don’t experience 90% of what others do because I restore my phone on a yearly basis, if not more frequently. It takes me all of 30 minutes at most to reset it up to my liking. The longest part is my watch and recalibrating it. A lot of what people experience is because of corruption that any software will have. I can’t tell you how many times a year I had to restore my windows XP machine. At least every quarter. And that was a giant pain compared to a phone.

You choosing to not restore is on you. Therefore you have to live with the bugs that you see and can’t complain about them. It’s like those that complain about politics but don’t vote. If you have an option to fix it and don’t exercise it, you can complain. Sorry - I know it’s harsh but it’s true.

I don't experience most of the bugs reported here, either... and I have always done an OTA upgrade in place... for as far back as I can remember... as with most things around here, YMMV.

Which is completely fair. But What is not fair is you complaining about bugs that you can solve if you were willing to give up your messages.

I couldn’t care less about messages. I delete my threads on a weekly basis. If I have more than 5 at one time, then I forgot that week to purge them. I like a clean and clutter-free phone.
You might be OCD lol

This week at best we will see 11.3.1 . At worst we will see nothing at all.
The next beta for 11.4 will come the next week.

At this point I’m most looking forward to iOS 12, which will probably let me down and we’ll start this whole process all over again. I thought iOS 11 was going to be a bug fix release but it obviously didn’t end up that way. There’s not much else they can do with 11 really, despite the improvements with 11.3, it’s been stained too much and will forever be thought of as one of the worst releases.

WWDC is only two months away, and going by how fast this year has gone already then it’s not long to wait at all. I hope they do fix things up this time around and we’re not left waiting until 12.3 for things to be as they should’ve been from day one. Let’s hope the iOS 12.0 betas is the only beta testing we need to do which hopefully doesn’t leak into 12.1 and 12.2 also being betas for the official 12.0 version such has been the case with iOS 11.

iOS 11 reminds me of Android Lollipop on my Nexus 7. Here's hoping Apple pulls off Android Marshmallow with iOS 12. iOS 11 is beyond fixing at this point.

Do I even dare ask what’s wrong with your device. Because iOS 11.3 is pretty darn perfect here.
It runs good on my iPhone X but it has issues with battery life and performance on iPad Air 2 and iPhone 7. I still see stuttering and battery life is not where it should,be. My iPad Pro 12.9 is still on iOS 10 because of this reason. The stuttering would be even more noticeable on 120hz screen. I don't know how 11.3 would run on it though because the last time I tried 11 was a few months ago when it was on 11.1 and it was showing stutters in multi tasking.

Played with one at Walmart on 11.3 and it looked just fine 120hz was great

The only issue I have on my Air 2 is the battery because it’s down to 83% and is 3.5 years old. No performance issues whatsoever.

Sorry, I'm out of the loop and a quick scan of the thread failed to provide an answer, but what serious bug is affecting the majority of devices on 11.3?

What do you worry about when you pick up your phone? I have virtually no problems with my 8Plus. Maybe its how I use it, but there is nothing that impacts my day-to-day usage. Do I have the occasional stutter or freeze? Of course, but it doesn't harm me. So I wasted a couple extra seconds trying to do a task. There is nothing catastrophically wrong with my device(s).

I am with you, I haven't had any issue with iOS 11 on my iPhone X or iPad Pro. I don't understand it.
[doublepost=1523282583][/doublepost]What serious bug is everyone referring to?

And 11.3 has massive airplay issues, which were not fixed despite a lot of us in the developer beta telling Apple about it, so 11.3.1 is very much needed and not just for the original bugs mentioned publicly. I can replicate the issue on any apple tv and on 3 testing devices all different types. IOS 11 has really been a train-wreck. And 11.4 beta is bad as well, same airplay issues and imessage failures, but that's beta so it is what it is.

Since iOS 11.3 has a serious bug that affect the majority of devices...Yeah! It seems that Apple should drop it today or tomorrow if the solution is ready.
Serious bug that affects the majority of devices? Even with that it doesn't necessarily mean that there's something that is coming today or tomorrow (even if in a scenario like that that should be the case).

Furthermore it doesn’t affect the majority of devices as the majority of people do not even use MDM.
