No public beta today??? cmooon
The second PB is never out the same day as the DP. Tomorrow at the earliest, but probably Wednesday because tomorrow will most likely me iOS 10.3.3, watchOS 3.2.3 and macOS 10.12.6.

Oh...the PB life. Waiting, waiting, waiting.

Oh look, my iPhone crashed again.

Waiting..

So what needs to be fixed/working/better for you to jump back on the beta bandwagon? I'll test them out for you ;)

That's usually a day after DB version. They want to make sure theres no critical bugs.

That makes no sense. Why would they release a beta version to devs with critical bugs?

On to the B4 speculation.

By the way, Reddit guy was right again! He said July 10th.

Meh. Like I said b4. No way Apple would release a beta a week after public beta was released. Wasn’t that hard to predict.

A lot of things. Biggest is the battery drain, same usage and standby time. Then the accessory is not supported issue.

How does that not make sense? iOS 11 is still in beta. Apple can't be certain that iOS 11 Beta 3 (that was released today), won't brick people's phone when it is installed. If they didn't think it could possible to have no critical bugs, then we would get Beta releases on Friday...but there's a reason why...no Apple dev wants to come into work on the weekend to fix a critical bug.

No...that's the point. They don't want to knowingly release a beta with critical bugs to anybody. But the public are less forgiving about these things, so they pass it to developers first - who will be able to cope if something major breaks down. The Public Beta gets installed on users' main devices, and if something goes wrong they're stuck until Apple fix it. Developers usually have spare devices hanging around for software testing purposes, and are generally just more clued up about what exactly a beta OS entails. Public just see a shiny new version of iOS they can get early, and forget that it's not finished and will be buggy.

Why, exactly, do you think they release these betas for testing?

Well the first will take a bit of time to assess and I could never reproduce the other two so... You might want to keep an eye out on the forum :)

Just installed Beta 3!

App Store purchased bug is fixed. My device no longer closes out the App Store when when I click on purchases.

But that was my point also, not all devs have spare devices. So you wouldn’t want to screw up their devices with a critical bug. But I see what you are saying.

Well if there was critical bugs and the public is upset about that then the public shouldn't complain and throw a fit. It's a public beta, keyword is beta. They warned everyone not to install on main device.

Wonder if Beta 4 tomorrow? We NEED beta 4! If beta 4 doesn't come tomorrow I am not sure what I will do. Please Apple Beta 4! I need batteries and I heard beta 4 comes with extras. :D
