Can I ask you when did you get the phone? Have you tried the piano riff ringtone test?

Thanks!

Anyways it’s a pretty big issue in the apple discussions web:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8550004
I have done the ring test. Nada.

My phone is a 512 XS Max, on att network, received on launch day, running the latest beta since day 1. It has been flawless.

Betas 1, 2, and 3 were released on Oct 31, Nov 7, and Nov 15. About 1 week apart from each other.

It's now been over 2 weeks since beta 3. Where is beta 4? Apple released new betas this week of macOS and tvOS.

My voice-activated Siri shortcuts stopped working. Worked OK yesterday, not today. Same iOS version (beta3), iPhone XS. Restarting phone didn’t help.
For example, shortcut is “Send coming home”. Instead of running my shortcut to compute ETA and send it to my spouse, now Siri says “who do you want to send it to?” with “coming home” in a text message draft. ??
I had to delete and re-record the activation phrases for all of them.

Did you try the piano riff ringtone test?

Just did. No buzz.

Wanted to add that if there are no issues with the things I use and do, o don’t care so much about the things I’ll never use. For one, I’d never use the piano ringtone (I’m always on silent anyway. And if I did want to use an audible ringtone, I would NEVER have it at Max volume. I usually have it at 25%.

I don’t use the piano riff either, but it’s the easiest way to test this issue. Anyway, I have this buzz during phone calls and any kind of audio playback when the audio is >70%. Asked for a replacement, hopefully the third iPhone will be fine.

I hope they give you a unit that you’re satisfied with. I can understand the frustration.

iOS 12.1.1 Beta 2
Resolved Issues

  • When tapping the “i” button for info in a message thread of someone who you share your location with (or vice versa) the photos are very glitchy to load and you always get sent to the bottom of the list after trying to scroll up.

As you can see above this was fixed for beta 2 but it's now BROKEN for this beta 3 and the final version 12.1 for everyone else. I can't believe this isn't mentioned more!

anyone on this beta with an AW series 4 running release watchOS 5.1 noticing frequent disconnects and fallback of watch to cellular or wifi even in range of the phone?

In anticipation of today’s official release, I deleted the beta profile and rebooted. My phone still shows 12.1.1 and has the Feedback app. Is this normal? First time doing beta.

Will it download the official today? And how do I get back on beta.

Sorry, guys. First time.
