XS Max. It’s 2am in Germany now and I still have 50%. *knocks on the table*
Dang! I’m on a XS Max too and my battery is 30% worse on betas than public firmwares. I’ve been trying to figure out my problem for a while now. Regardless, I’ll file a radar to see if any improvements can be made on beta firmwares.

Is battery issue on iphone 8 fixed? After upgrade to 12.1.2 my battery is getting drained much faster.

Is that a known/widespread issue associated with iOS 12.1.2 (and iPhone 8 in particular)?

Sporting an 8 myself, I would like more insight into this. My battery heath stands at 94% and battery life is more or less great. I might be seeing a slightly faster drop from 100 to 80 percent though. I am on beta 2, 12.1.3.

I dont know. This have happened everytime I update the iOS on my all iphones after iphone 6S Plus.

I have a bug in my Xs with the 12.1.3 beta but I'm pretty sure it was already present in 12.1:

Sometimes when I open Settings or the App Store (as fare as I know this doesn't happen with other apps, stock or not), the app freezes for a few seconds (I can't do anything except swiping up to go back to the homescreen) and then starts working. And once in a while I have to kill the app in order to get it working fine again.

As someone experienced that too?

I Have the same issue with 12.1.2.
I changed a few weeks ago my iPhone 7 to an iPhone X. With the 7 i had the same problem...
so it might had to do with an software issue?!

Have you ruled out rogue background apps? Force close all apps and reboot the device? Any change in usage?
[doublepost=1546829947][/doublepost]I noticed it takes awhile to connect to public WiFi. When selecting the WiFi in settings, it shows its connected. It doesn’t show on the status bar. After maybe a minute, the captive page finally shows up.

I noticed it takes awhile to connect to public WiFi. When selecting the WiFi in settings said:
I have an XS and the last couple of weeks I have installed the beta, 16C101 and 16C104. I found that when arriving at a particular public WiFi spot the beta would do the same as you described. Would show as connected in Settings, but not in status bar. Apps would not connect until WiFi was established or turned off.

With 16C104, it would cut down the actual connect time (status bar) by at least half.
With 16C101, it connects within a couple of seconds (status bar). One morning it had connected when I woke the phone.

I'm leaving the 16C101 on my XS till the next beta arrives.
