iOS 12.1.3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Whatever it was supposed to fix inside messages details with the photos, mine are still missing when scrolling. I see some, not others and still have blanks.

It fixed the glitch where when you attempted to scroll the screen would go crazy and you wouldn’t be able to scroll through the photos.

Ditto. Mine feels the same as day one, no changes. I don’t know what all this these “It’s smoother” comments are but mine has always been that way on my Xs

You’ll see some blanks but if you give it a few moments you’ll see the image preview.

Not so for me Banglazed. The preview never appeared. Only by tapping on attachments then going back to images did they appear.
EDIT - double edit to add that this is getting weird. LOL.
 
Cell signal strength still not updating over bluetooth to in-car displays while the phone is in standby mode on Xs and Xs Max. Issue has occurred since the device was released unfortunately :(

That sucks. I’ve never had so many bugs at once that actually effect the daily use of my device.
 
Nice jump in perfs for me on my XS. My results on GeekBench went from 4779/11362 on the beta 4 to 4812/11539 on the final 12.1.3.

Feels snappier. Everything a bit quicker. But maybe it's a placebo, I don't know...

iPhone 8+, Did anyone have issues with an 8 with Carplay disconnecting on 12.1.2? I did. I'm wondering if this fixes the issue with 8 as well as x xs etc...

That fix only works for me temporarily it seems. If I go a bit without talking to that person, it will start appearing once again.

My iPhone 7 is terrible slow after 12.1.3 upgrade..
 
After an update I always check Privacy / Location Services. Had a couple of apps that shifted from "While Using" to blank. o_O
Hiya was turned off by the update. :eek:
Still seeing a mismatch between badge count and actual unread email in stock app
Have not noticed any specific improvements in speed.
Will see how things go for the remainder of previous issues and possible battery life impact.
