Wonder if this addresses any connectivity issues with dual sim devices? Dual sim connectivity before 12.1.3 was iffy. If either sim lost service no data would work at all to load anything etc. despite main sim having signal/service.

Wow my 2nd gen IPad Pro 12.9 really picked up some power. Before this the best Geekbench Metal Score I ever saw was 29104. It’s very responsive and smooth. Using Procreate is way smoother.

Does it help with the issue that where "Settings" app doesn't respond for a few seconds because a "native" iOS app has been removed, you will go to scroll and it hangs for like 5 seconds before you can navigate/scroll though settings?

Cell signal strength still not updating over bluetooth to in-car displays while the phone is in standby mode on Xs and Xs Max. Issue has occurred since the device was released unfortunately :(
What car do you have? Always works in my cars entertainment system.

Definitely a noticeable improvement on my Xs. Geekbench 4 tests back that up.

I thought this was addressed in one of previous iOS 12.X

Well I noticed 12.1.2 was mainly geared towars XR/XS devices and that battery life for older devices was crummy, so I figured I’d wait and maybe see if anyone notices better performance on “X” before jumping to 10.1.3. Especially in regards to settings functionalities.

I think battery would be crummy for older devices on iOS 12. If you're already on iOS 12, I recommend you to update and test so you can confirm and let others know its fixed. I believed one of previous iOS did fixed it, maybe partially or completely. iOS 12.1.2 did have some connectivity issue but this build rectifies it so this build might be a better candidate.

Sill not fixed (Wiki updated)
  • Safari: "add to home screen" - when there is just one home screen, it does not show the recently added icon. It does create a 2nd page but when you swipe left the icon is missing. After a reboot or waiting for several minutes, the icon may or may not appear (tested by @Arni99)

Settings still hangs for a second or two upon opening. This **** is really starting to get annoying.....

It was NOT and it’s still an issue with this build. ****ing ridiculous, I’ve reported this to Apple as well numerous times.

Did you deleted any of the stock apps?

Apple already noted that deleting default stock apps may affect functionality.

See here> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208094

There's a list of stock apps listed and you can try to download them back from the App Store and retest the Settings app. It should be fixed afterward.

What’s everyones opinion on 12.1.3 so far? Seems pretty solid so far.
I had an issue on 8 plus with settings app and YouTube momentarily freezing. Seems to be improved on this update.

2 call failures since installed this is a hardware issue

A what now? Call failures happen. Unless the phone has somehow stopped latching on to the network and there are signs that we are not connected to the network, it might not be hardware issue with the phone. Just saying.

My MacBook Air disconnects from WiFi every single time when the charger is plugged or unplugged. We might think this is a hardware issue for sure. However, this never happened with 10.14.2, it is happening only with 10.14.3. Issues crop up sometimes out of the blue, they are called bugs unless they are hardware defects. Don't blame a perfectly working hardware so early in diagnosis. :p

My iPhone 6s was draining battery life like crazy under 12.1.2. I would have a full charge (100%) before I went to bed and wake up to 1% with no usage. After 13 hours of using 12.1.3, my battery life is back to normal. Only down 20% overnight. Just FYI to any iPhone 6s user who might have experienced the same on 12.1.2.

Since updating I’ve noticed they have changed something with cellular and how my iPhone 7 picks towers. Now I have less bars at home on att and now it shows Att WiFi in the statusbar almost all the time now. So it must be picking the band with less noise or something but it’s defaulting more to use my WiFi. Not sure if it’s a good change or not yet.

Call failed happened all day this is becoming a joke now ive changed phone and same issue, apple says its ee and ee say its the phone

Perhaps there are some issues with your carrier and/or the area where you are using your device?

Hello, I am appearing with you a green bar showing up when you start, end connections visible on video.
I have this bug probably from the beginning of iOS12, someone will confirm at home?
On iOS 11 I am glad that it was not a problem.

The error is still not fixed in this version :(

Anybody else having issues with Siri Shortcuts on this build?

It won’t read out a result whilst using a shortcut via Siri but will display the result on screen if the phone is unlocked.
